In "Batgirl Begins," Poison Ivy also begins.

I think this show actually did the best job with her origin, which is a first. Very unrealistic, but I liked the dynamics that Barbara could have become the poison.

Any other villains from "The Batman" that you think exceeded expectations?

i like how Poison Ivy looks, not too similar to the other cartoon's one.

Mr. Freeze j/k

I think The Ventriloquist was done very well his second appearance was good.

Clayface was excellent because his identity came right out of left field.Who would've thought that it would be Bruce's best friend?
No one. This was a total shocker.

I actually like most of the Villain's designs (sans Joker, and I'm unsure how I feel about the Riddler yet).

Just have to look at it as different and try not to compare too much. :batman: :)

i like the design of Firefly it really stands out in comparison with the comicbook version
but Solomon Grundy i think was the best villian design during the show

I like what they did with Clayface I thought they did excellent work on him both look and his charecter.

I hate the Joker look and the Riddler Look. I also don't like what they did with Ivy a big part of her is she is suppose to be a suductris but she is a little girl still I hate that part and Barbra is to young she looks like she is in JR high or just a freshmen in high school.

I have also seen the picutres of what Robin will look like and it looks like they skipped Dick and went straight to Tim he is so small.

funny thing is that supposed to be grayson.

I like Firefly, Mr. Freeze (I'd like him more if he had a gun instead of his hands), and Man-Bat.

Most of the designs/origins are okay. The Joker 's look is new, I like that, but the green hair is a little much. The Riddler's gothic depiction is pretty good.

What, do you mean the long hair is a little much? he has always had green hair.

Yeah, I like the new look for Joker. And plus his monkey-like fighting style!

I like the Joker, because he grows from insane guy to the traditional character.. however, I do believe that Mark Hammil's performance can't be topped form BTAS.

The riddler is okay, definitely feels more modern. I'm not too big on the penguin, especially since they make penguin go toe-to-toe with the batman with martial arts... I think that is just out of character for the penguin.

Clayface was interesting, and Bane was nice and scary looking.

Poison Ivy had a good origin story in this, that I thought was compelling.

Firefly is unique, and more modern.

nobody can beat that verison of the Joker, he had a great balance of humour and the dark persona of the classic villian

Definitely one of the better origins, for sure.

I love that picture of her, I hope she shows up but from the outlines of the shows for this season it looks like she won't be showing.

I agree.

If you look at the show from a beginners point of view all the characters are still growing up and developing like they did so in the comics. Obviously everyone is going to get older in the comics but this show has like everyones origin when batman was batman and the villians weren't just thrown into the show they were created in it.

Poison Ivy, Leather Face and even the Penquin are so well drawn.

Joker is like really wierd looking and maybe we'll see a changed man as he gets more sophisticated on the job and starts acting like a changed clown. I like Batman: TAS one better.

The orgin of Mr. Freeze sucked cause it was supposed to be a scientist trying to get his wife back because of an incurable desease.

anyways i like where the show has ended up so far with Batgirl joining before robin does. Now the Bat family has truely begun on the show.

sorry I meant Killer Croc, omg I am so embarrased for that. I must of been thinking of the name too hard. or it was a phrase someone said about him once, IDK. but I was thinking of Killer croc!
