LEAST favorite villain

Ivy. Never read a story about her that I've ever liked.

The BTAS origin of Mr Freeze was actually pretty limiting. No wonder he's only appeared in two episodes. I think Snyder's new origin is not a bad thing. Cool Cruel Mr. Freeze!

Poison Ivy is a character whose appeal is that she is hot (visually and the plant theme). She never had any consistent motivation to begin with. In one story she just wants to be left alone and cares for some children and in the next she's feeding people to plants (for no reason at all). Keep in mind that originally she was just some sort of weird stalker in love with Batman. The whole "saving the environment" appeared somewhere in the 90s.

And he wasn't just used for two episodes. Not so limiting if they made a movie with him, too.

I don't like Snyder's Freeze origin at all. I have no problem with Freeze being an evil bastard for the sake of being a cold evil bastard. He was that way for most of my childhood till DC adopted the TAS origin into the canon. I do have a problem with him being a creepy stalker and yet another bat villain with severe mental issues beyond a genuine emotional obsession with curing his wife.

How so ridiculous?

Yup Freeze beofre BTAS sucked. Now he's an awesome villain. If you're hating on pre BTAS Freeze then I get ya. But not post BTAS Freeze. He's awesome.

Ivy is best buds with Harley Quinn like some Thelma and Louise duo.

How?

Neither was Joker. He was supposed to be killed off originally.

Means nothing. Great villains get killed off all the time in CBM movies. Movies are a finite universe. It ain't the comics where they can come back again and again every few months.

That's cos Nolan's Two Face was driven by revenge.

You're half right. Very appropriate since we're talking about Two Face.

Eh Two-Face just has'nt done anything for me personally(I did enjoy most of his BTAS episodes though),Harley simply rubs me the wrong way with her sole existence, but then I never liked funny, relief characters such as her(and Deadpool for instance).

M'kay so it's just personal preference kinda thing. She just ain't your type of character is all.

Freeze was in the Sub Zero movie as well.

Freeze has 4 appearances in the animated series, beside his origin and Sub-Zero there are those:And a Batman Beyond appearance (sequel to TAS) in the episode Meltdown

He has two appearances in BTAS. Full stop.

And notice the storyline:

Revenge -> Wife's still alive -> Wife must be saved -> Wife is saved but Freeze hates everyone now

It's not that this origin provides a good basis for recurring appearances. You cannot go on like that forever, he cannot fail to save his wife all the time. Which is also rather dumb since there is no reason why Batman wouldn't help him to complete his research. He can also not trying to get revenge for the 135th time (and fail).

I didn't care for Ras until Batman Begins.

Wasn't a fan of The Penguin until Burton turned him into a mutant.

Gotta agree with Omegabat. Two-Face, when written as a two-themed gangster, is really lame and uninteresting. I always saw Two-Face as some sort of exteme vigilante that enacts his own type of judgement to random criminals in the streets of Gotham by the flip of his coin. Barely seen, barely heard of besides his death-count, and would give Batman a good reason to be driven to find him.

As far as lame villains go:

1. Zsasz - There is nothing interesting about him. A very one-note, single-minded villain.

2. Orca - Besides her lame design and gimmick, she is redundant with Man-Bat around, who is also a rip-off from Lizard. So, a rip-off from a rip-off.

3. Hush - He's a Loeb creation. That explains itself.

4. Great White Shark - Yeah, he was fun for a one-shot, but afterwards? Very redundant when we already have Black Mask around.

5. White Rabbit - A more recent example, but yeah, she was just a lazy attempt at fan-service. Not to mention her intro also showed the genius of ONE-FACE! :o

Special Mention: The Joker - Yeah, I know, surprising addition, but when the Joker is not written correctly, and especially when writers try too hard to make him come off as X-TREEEEMLY violent or vicious, he can come off as annoying instead.
