Here's hoping now for The Arcade Game, Turtles in Time, and the Manhatten Project.:yay:

Konomi's not stupid, and the original TMNT was very fun so why wouldn't they add it.

I need to bust out some money for Wii Points I'm behind on some purchases.

Damn Nintendo. Money hungry bastards. :cmad:

LOL, I know. :p

I don't have the money and I still want to buy Contra III and DKC.

Plus I still have yet to buy Super Star Soldier like I have been told I should do or R-Type III.

The virtual console is a bigger success than I thought it'd be. And I already knew it'd do good.

Still waiting on Super Mario Bros. 2 and 3.

I want Mario RPG and Earthbound.

Earthworm Jim would be welcome also.:yay:

I am suprised on how much difference changing your router channel can improve your internet connection to the Wii. I posted ealier that my Wii had an extremely hard time connecting to the internet. I changed my router channel stting from the default of channel 6 to channel 11 and it now connects in no time! I can start checking out these virtual console games now.

Is there a list of when certain games come out, or does nintendo just surprise us every Mon?:xmen:

Glad to hear your connection is working better.

I don't know if they really tell us ahead of time....but mostly just surprise us with it. I'm ok with that...I love going on after work on Monday's and finding out what is available.:woot:

4 new SEGA games announced

I am interested in trying out "Beyond Oasis." But I need to check out if it is on that Genesis collection for PS2. I would rather get that used at Game Crazy for $15 with several games than spend 800 points for just one game.

Beyond Oasis is a really aweosme game. I remember playing that waaaay back when I had my SEGA. That game should be worth the points when it comes out.

Finally, the start to some real RPGs.....except I hate Sword of Vermilion...I beat it back when it came out, but it is probably one of the most boring RPGs of all time.:csad:

New formats confirmed for Virtual Console
Friday 23-Feb-2007 12:00 PM Nintendo to add NEO GEO and MSX support to the Virtual Console in spring 2007
Games for the NEO GEO and MSX formats will be made available to download onto Wii as Nintendo expands its Virtual Console service.

The update, which is currently only confirmed for the Japanese Virtual Console, is due to be made in spring.

Nintendo had previously announced that the MSX was on its way to the Virtual Console, and Nintendo's official Japanese website has confirmed that two games, Eggy and Aleste, will be among the first available for the format. MSX games will cost 800 Wii Points.

The Virtual Console will also see increased third-party support with companies Spike, G-Mode, Pony Canyon and SNK all pledging to throw games at the service.

This should mean heaven for fans of 2D beat-'em-ups with games like Samurai Shodown, Art of Fighting, King of Fighters and SNK vs Capcom all possibilities for Wii.

And the comming of MSX brings with it the possibility that legendary space trade sim, Elite, could make its way to Wii.

CVG contacted Nintendo, who has "no further details at this time" in regards to when Europe might see these updates

This better be available for the US also. :csad:

They need to hurry and add support for the Dreamcast.

Just got Streets of Rage, its still as fun as when I played it on the Genesis. Plus i get to play it with the remote, so thats extra cool points. Anyone else think it would be cool if they added Gameboy games?

I wish they would add the Gamboy library for maybe 300 points or something.

I want to play Metroid II again, loved that game.:csad:

Yeah, I love it too. I think it would be cool to port old Gameboy games for around 100-200 points, so I can actually use my left-over points for something. Plus I could get a chance to play Super Mario Land, the first Pokemon games, Wario Land, the Gameboy Zelda's, etc again.

Super Mario Land 1 + 2, Wario Land, Metroid 2, Yoshi's Cookie, Dr. Mario, and the Gameboy Mega Man's
