Target has a crappy section for clothes, good deals on DVDs. Wal Mart has better deal on foods and more clothes for guys

I have found better clothes at Target.

It'd still rather do all my shopping at Target, dispite them being pricks.

Overall, I'm giving the nod to Target. To be fair, all three stores have something to offer as well as drawbacks.

Target:

Pros-the cleanest of the three and most organized. The best selection of DVDs, CDs, decorations.

Cons- small stock of clothes, particularly for adults as well as vehicle related products.

K-Mart:

Pros- Affordable, higher quality clothes. Best selection of toys. Decent selection of exercise/sporting equipment.

Cons- stores can vary in quality/cleanliness.

Wal-Mart:

Pros- Open 24hrs, unlike most K-marts and Targets. Clear edge in groceries.

Cons-a lot of crappy merch, especially the clothing.

I second that. They don't have any Big Men's clothes at all. Wal-Mart's Big Men's clothes are really just fat guy clothes, meaning it's just a bunch of extra material around the waist. Plus, a lot of the brands are low-quality.

K-Mart is the only place I can shop for clothes that actually carry large, tall sizes.

Love Target - great place for whenever I need to pick up random things. I'll get a clothing item on occasion if I don't have time to go shopping. I've gotten Spoons some cool nerd shirts there. I also like their women's pajama boxer shorts.

I would never buy clothing at Wal-Mart or K-Mart unless it was for something like a one-time use. For my office's ugly Christmas sweater party last year, I was able to find a hideous Christmas cardigan at K-Mart lol.

The Wal-Mart where I live is beautiful, so I do get groceries there sometimes. I also use their pharmacy. It's the only Wal-Mart I've ever been in that is spotless and never crowded. And the employees there always offer to help me.

I have been to 2 Walmarts that are decent enough to come back and also have with good personnel. I still prefer Target though.

I prefer Target because of the aforementioned classiness and better products, but also because of the store's arrangement. Walmart, if you are looking for a specific item, you have to head to the last place you would expect it, because nothing is stocked where it should be (or that has been my experience.) But, the only Target is 45-60mins away, so it is not a feasible option for all of my purchases. So, I use Walmart, and have my blood pressure soar when the toothpaste is not with the other dental care products but by the hair coloring.

Um, whoever that woman had that conversation with, wasn't at all appropriately representing Target's brand.

Every Target in my area lets charitable foundations shop. And generally donates hundreds of dollars for the trip as well.

I actually have a friend who works at Guess (and they're all, y'know, pretentious *******s there), and she'll actually wear Target apparel while working at Guess, and get complimented ridiculously over them.

But we've got Tesco, Sainsbury's and Asda I guess (never been in an Asda shop). And the Co-op and Morrisons for just food. Though from what I've heard, I wish the shops we have had the same variety of places like Wal-mart.

Went to pick up a shake weight at Kmart last week. Oh my god.... Sooooooo ghetto. Never going again.

I went to K-Mart for the first time in years today. It definitely isn't even in the same league as Target. Everything just seemed thrown onto shelves without much rhyme or reason. It honestly struck me more as a repo or liquidator store than anything.

That said, I still didn't feel dirty walking through the place like I do at Wal-Mart. Nor did any of my fellow customers appear to have any open sores or blatant IQ deficientcies like the majority of Wal-Mart patrons seem to have.

Target needs to offer financial services- check cashing, money orders, wire-money, bill paying, etc.; they also need to have a full big men's section in clothing.. everything maxes out at 2x.. they need better selections in men's shoes.. The expanded grocery section is good..
