Episode 8, Static, aired last thursday, on Thanksgiving they showed a repeat airing of Zod.

Subterranean will air in almost two weeks, on the 7th.

its like a smallville christmas present. its really a six week break but in the 3rd week they come back with a filler episode to tide us over until january- don't expect anything major

thats what they did last year with "Lexmas." I think it's because they're starting the seasons later...

Well, looking over at the air dates on TV.com, Smallville back in Season 4 went between the first week in December all the way through to January as their winter hiatus...

It was actually worse in Season 3 when it was two months, from the middle of November until the middle of January, between Shattered and Asylum!
