in general regards to a dylan song over the closing credits, desolation row is entirely appropriate. but i also realized today how awesome "it's alright ma (i'm only bleeding)" would be.
W-w-....uh...What?Dylan raped his own song. Don't see how a cover of it is such a big deal.![]()
But Dylan's original song is in the opening credits.

I like what little I've heard of MCR's version.
Yeah, actually, I do too. Although if they are supposed to be Pale Horse, i would expect a sound a little less polished than this, but, meh--we'll live.
Joel Silver at the press conference for "V for Vendetta" said that Alan Moore liked the script.
I really really wish the vinyl had Bob Dylan's Desolation Road on one side, MCR's on the other.
kewl, sounds kinda upbeat for Watchmen, actually...haha, not in a bad way, like, maybe you're happy being desolated....It doesn't sound that punkish. It's more like a modern alternative song, but with a kinda punk direction. I have no clue how I can describe it, but if they wanted it more punk, their guitarist's side project LeATHERMOUTH could've helped out with that.

im not saying there aren't worse musicians. there certainly are. im just saying, as someone who has an immense appreciation and respect for music, and who has witnessed MCR up close and personal, they're not good musicians. gerard's voice is horrible live. their drummer has no chops. the guitarist was entirely uninspiring. and it's not even like "oh, maybe they had a bad night"...because after the show, they were all pretty stoked about their performance.
