WATCHMEN! THE MUSIC VIDEO!-Ugh...ok...more on the MCR story we heard about earlier...

It's pretty good. I thought it was going to be more poppy. I'm happy with it.

I think it's okay, but I will admit I'm a fan of MCR's first album. Not the one with "Helena" and that emo crap on it, their debut album before they went mainstream. They started as more of a fun punk band, but than they went all pop and on The Black Parade they just went totally overboard with the production. They claim they are trying to get back to being a "rock" band now, which makes me hopeful. They really have lost most of their early fans and have mostly teenage girls at their shows now

As far as how they sound live...no, they aren't the worlds best musicians. They tend to be pretty sloppy and all over the place, which is fine for a lot of their older stuff that was recorded in that style...but when they try to play those big overproduced pop songs they have started doing they end up playing it with the same sloppy style and it just comes off as sounding bad a lot of the time.

I'm really hopeful that their next album will be like their old stuff. I can't say I've been a fan since Bullets, but that was the first of their albums I bought once I got caught up by Helena. They really dissapointed me with The Black Parade. I just want it to be 2004 again.

Meh. I dont like it. I couldnt understand what they were saying. Oh well.

The funny thing is, it should appel to me...being teenager and all. But **** that ****. Boo! Hiss!

.........Even worse than I initially thought....

Holy ****....

That was bad.

I'll say again, I don't think the song is as offensive as people are making it out to be, but it is a pretty uninspired effort. I hope this is the very last song in the credits. You know, the one that only plays for like 30 seconds...

the clip looks like the video could be just as generic and uninspired as the song. not surprising. this is sorta...vomit inducing though:
""I don't want to say too much, but as far as the placement right now it's integral to the ending of the film," Way said. "And that gave me goose bumps, and not because we did the song, but because it works that well, I feel.""

I feel physically ill after listening to that and reading that quote. :hehe:

I've accepted it. Plus, I like the spitting that dude is doing on the extras.

the official soundtrack website has been updated..and now u can listen to the full version of "Prison Fight"

I can't watch the vid :(
Anyone know a YouTube link?
Or more importantly, what are the references to the story that "a keen eye" would notice? Also, what do you guys think this gives away about Snyder's new ending?

the "keen eye" is noticing stuff related to watchmen in the vid.
and now that i think about it, MCr might be the band performing at "Pale Horse" in the story.

and honestly the previe wasn't that bad.
i don't see why some of u guys r soo quick to judge

It's an OK vid, I guess, it seems, I don't really care, that song annoys me anyway.
Especially the Dylan one, he's kinda overrated(no offense to the Dylan fans), I guess it's just not my kinda tune.
I mean it's just some whiny guy repeating a bunch of unintelligible depressing stuff for 10 minutes....

Guess I'm not deep enough to get Dylan.

I don't get why people don't understand what they're saying. If you can't understand it, then you honestly won't be able to understand Rorschach in the movie.

Well, if I perfectly understood what he was thinking... I would need help.

Because the music is too loud, and he sings to fast.

RARRRR RRRAAAA GGGGAHHH AHGGGAAA SUBSUBBUBAAA DEEESOLATION RAAAHOW!!! RAAAHH GATAHHAH GHHHAGHHH!! UGHKAK!!

Thats what it sounds like to me.
