That would explain why they got Spielberg-lite for the first two lol

Isn't Yates doing Tarzan for WB?Yates is like Rupert Wyatt (Rise of the Planet of the apes). incredibly indecisive with ther next project.
It won't work now. Spielberg can't be hired now. He develops projects.Spielberg was attached at one point, wasn't he?
The movies are alright at best, the first one is the best according to me.My history with Harry Potter has been interesting because I saw all the movie (prior to the 7th one) and while I liked them all, I still didn't get it. So, me being an open minded dude, I read the books..then it clicked...then it all made sense. I fully understood why Harry Potter is a gem of a series.
It's an amazing book series, and I think the films are great companion pieces. I don't think the movies feel like the full experience but yeah, now I'm grateful that I read the books.
Because of that one decision, my entire outlook just changed on Harry Potter and now I'm excited for the new possalbitilies of a spin-off!
Some are already dismissing the move by saying that it is all "quick cash grab".
But same people approve of Disney making more Star Wars movies and more Pirates of Caribbean movies.
Even the weakest Harry Potter film is on the very least good. The movies are alright at best, the first one is the best according to me.
The best thing about the films is John Williams score for the first 3 films.
Spielberg was attached at one point, wasn't he?

In terms of popularity i think it's easily up there, but in superherohype forums i don't think it is. Though it's probably close to Star Trek's, whose section sometimes feels empty
