I know this may be impossible, but just had a weird thought in my head; Kim Basinger as Hippolyta

Wonder if it's possible to leave the whole Themyscira, including the queen, out as well.I'd only have Hippolyta in this sharing a scene with her daughter but not the rest. Save them for Wonder Woman's own spin off movie.
Monica Bellucci no doubt.
Or ya know Hippolyta destroys Diana's rare collection of things from Man's World.![]()
Not bad.Connie Nielsen
or Sigourney Weaver
Queen Hypolita: Monica Bellucci

If you can't get Monica, then why not Cate Blanchett? I mean, I think she could pull it off just from her time doing the LOTR films...

She wants to be a Part of Your World.A la Little Mermaid...
I again ask why the supposedly "ageless" queen of the Amazons looks SO much older than her daughter? Yes, Gal is 28, but she could pass for much younger. If the Amazons are "ageless" why would she look like any of the actresses listed here that are mid forties? I mean... Kim Basinger? Really?
Much like how Jor Els is kinda of a "superman" or hero in his own right, in my own view the father is just a more mature version of Kal. I feel the same with Hippolyta. She should be just a more mature version of her daughter Diana. Even if they don't age, keeping the mother mature looking is important IMO
Simple my fair Smurf, Hippolyta gave up her 'ageless' beauty to give life to the clay doll that was Diana.![]()
