I could totally buy either Jennifer Connelly or Charlize Theron as Queen Hippolyta. But I'd probably opt just a tad more for the former.

Charlize is a choice I could accept as Hippolyta. But she'd make a better Circe or Cheetah or Cale. I hope Circe would not be too similar to her role in that Snow White film. It's a damn shame Lana Parilla is with Disney. She'd also be a good choice for Hippolyta or Circe. Again, perhaps Circe is too similar to Regina for her to be interested?

I'm blanking on the character's name but correct me if I am wrong, but isn't one of WW's minor enemies an exiled Queen of ancient Atlantis? That could be a way to intro Aquaman and Atlantis in a back door kind of way. You get an explanation for Zatanna that way as well.

You could simply explain that the Amazons DO age, but they just age at a much slower rate than normal humans. Kind of like Superman or Wolverine are sometimes depicted. Personally, I want Eva Green to play Circe.

I wouldn't necessarily say that when there are a multitude of great actresses out there that could take the part.

But, I must admit that ever since looking through this thread last night I've become obsessed with Jennifer Connelly being in the role. It just seems to all fit together so perfectly.

How about Rachel Weisz for Queen Hippolyta? Here she is at the 2013 Golden Globe Awards. Looking so regal and beautiful. She will be 44 years old in March and stands 5' 7".

I would think that we all want things comic accurate as much as possible but after MOS it's apparent to me that the powers that be also like throwing us a curve or two. So... Thoughts?
