I'd say that the society clearly being all-female is a perfectly adequate representation of the society being all-female. Especially since the movie will likely draw attention to it and/or use it as a plot-point.

It'll very likely be a big name judging from what Warner Bros has done in previous Batman and Superman films for supporting characters like Russell Crowe, Michael Caine, Kevin Costner, Marlon Brando etc

-Hippolyta.
-The villain.
-The gods (if they end up appearing). Especially Zeus/Ares.

This isn't particularly about the Amazons... but since a lot of people are mentioning her, I think Lynda Carter should play a different role other than Hippolyta. Unless the Amazons in the cinematic universe aren't really immortal but just age really slowly, she is indeed too old to play Hippolyta now.

My suggestion is that she plays the US Air Force Officer who sends Steve Trevor on his mission and do relevant stuff throughout the movie. Her last name would be Prince to make an awesome easter egg.

Now, about Hippolyta, I think Monica Belluci is the best choice. But I really prefer blond Hippolyta...

And for the other Amazons, I think Gina Carano would be amazing as Aleka. But I don't think they'll use Aleka.

Warner Brothers got Russell Crowe to play Superman's bio dad, it's doubtful that they won't get an older actress of similar stature to play the equvalent figure in Wonder Woman. I have no issue with Minnie Driver but if she gets the role it's because the actresses they really wanted either turned down the role or weren't available.
