Oh, well in that case... I can live without watching Gerard Butler in the "act", thank you.
Because he has such an outgoing personality.![]()
Only hundred? Really? Well, that means that Zeus was alive and kicking up until recently. Or, most probably, still is. In a brothel, somewhere....
They can do whatever they like, I guess.
Oh, yeah... I forgot about that. That's what you get when you don't give a damn about the character in the first place.![]()
*Hans Zimmer's drums kick in*
It's gonna be confirmed by the actor, just as ViolaI suspect that we'll get the Hippolyta casting as well as confirmation of Pine as Steve Trevor in the next month or two.

Jason Fuchs apparently continues to being the official scriptwriter, so if they are rewrites, they are on time for them. Production starts in fallI'm less concerned with WW than I was, say a month ago. With our protagonist already cast and a major actor now in talks to play the male lead, I feel like this project really is moving full speed ahead. I just hope they've given themselves enough time on the script. It seemed like we went straight from "McClaren and WB can't agree on a story direction" to "Patty Jenkins is locked in and pre-production is underway!" With little time for any rewrites in between. That concerns me a little.
According to some rumors, the period piece, and the sidekick, and the wishes McLaren that wanted less character-developed and more action, and making Trevor a damesel in distress. So If those are true.. then I'm glad both moved on before more time passed. As you've said, we hope for the best.I'm aware of that, it just seems like there were some issues and instead of hiring someone else to consult or work on it,
WB just said, "get out, this is the script" and moved on. Oh well, hopefully it all works out for the best.
I want to see Artemis in a future WW film, I love the Bana Mighdall Amazons. Who would you cast to play her? Of course as I am a big Artemis fan I'd love to see an adaptation of Requiem done as a film eventually.

I hear ya. So nothing to worry about... well when we see the first Filming pic or something coming from the director then yeah, the ship has sailed too..
But Pre-Production has started already and production will start in fall, so we are on right track for now.![]()
Yeah... I don't care what most say... This release date is not optimal, unless Jenkins can somehow be both really fast and really frugal yet maintain quality, to keep costs down to ease any budgetary fears. On the other hand, if Gal wins the audience over in BVS, which is more than possible, that will help to ease the stress the film is under somewhat.
As of now...that release date is not optimal. Too much saturation at the end of June and beginning of July.
Films will get moved around though so we will see how it turns out. I don't think it's smart to release Desp 3 2 weeks after Toy Story 4 either.
When it comes to release dates....I just want this WW to be set up for success. She needs space.
DM2 opened two weeks after Monsters University and both did great business. I suspect if WW vacates June 23rd, something else will quickly slot in
AgreedI think rewrites are most likely happening as we speak in preparation, for shooting in the fall.
I'm more curious who here DOP and stunt and fight scene coordinators will be and who the VFX/CGI house will be.
You may have a point there. The main concern I have as of now is just the release date in mid June?
I don't like it and I want it moved to August a week after Pac Rim 2. WW can handle a release date a week after Pac Rim,2....but can she handle a release date between family/kids animations Toy Story 4 and another Despicable film? Too much to ask IMO for her first onscreen solo film.
