She was onset so it's confirmed. I'm not waiting for Suicide Squad confirmations, that ship has sailed.

I'm more concerned with Wonder Woman because WB has had such trouble bringing her to the big screen. So I do want at least some confirmations about the film.

I still hope and pray that they decided not to do a period piece but I'll support the film no matter what and grit my teeth about that aspect.

But Pre-Production has started already and production will start in fall, so we are on right track for now.

With our protagonist already cast and a major actor now in talks to play the male lead, I feel like this project really is moving full speed ahead. I just hope they've given themselves enough time on the script. It seemed like we went straight from "McClaren and WB can't agree on a story direction" to "Patty Jenkins is locked in and pre-production is underway!" With little time for any rewrites in between. That concerns me a little.

I'm going to guess Pine ends up all but confirmed and we get a similar situation with Hippolyta and/or villain casting, with officially announcements at Comic Con.

Jason Fuchs apparently continues to being the official scriptwriter, so if they are rewrites, they are on time for them. Production starts in fall

I want to see Artemis in a future WW film, I love the Bana Mighdall Amazons. Who would you cast to play her? Of course as I am a big Artemis fan I'd love to see an adaptation of Requiem done as a film eventually.

I think rewrites are most likely happening as we speak in preparation,for shooting in the fall.

I'm more curious who here DOP and stunt and fight scene coordinators will be and who the VFX/CGI house will be.

I don't like it and I want it moved to August a week after Pac Rim 2. WW can handle a release date a week after Pac Rim,2....but can she handle a release date between family/kids animations Toy Story 4 and another Despicable film? Too much to ask IMO for her first onscreen solo film.

This release date is not optimal, unless Jenkins can somehow be both really fast and really frugal yet maintain quality, to keep costs down to ease any budgetary fears. On the other hand, if Gal wins the audience over in BVS, which is more than possible, that will help to ease the stress the film is under somewhat.

DM2 opened two weeks after Monsters University and both did great business. I suspect if WW vacates June 23rd, something else will quickly slot in

Yeah but Toy Story 4 is not Monsters Inc....however it is summer and the family animation season so the kids come out in droves with their parents for animation or Pixar films regardless.
