Marvel: Ultimate Alliance 3 Is Coming, Made By Team Ninja And Is A Switch Exclusive

There’s a new Avengers (and X-Men, and Guardians of the Galaxy) game coming to the Switch, in the form of Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: Black Order. It’ll be out in 2019, and amazingly, is being developed by Team Ninja.



Coming ten years after the last game in the series, it introduces a new over-the-shoulder camera view and has four-player co-op.

The game is being published by Nintendo.

The voice acting is a bit meh but I’m still very keen

where do you see current gen graphics? The trailer we saw looked straight out of last gen which makes sense since its developed for the Switch

Yeah especially if you compare it to this year's Spider-Man.... Also check the graphics/ cutscenes of Ultimate Alliance 2 if you didn't play it before, that one looks better.

I just think the new trailer looks dated, like its for a new mobile game. Though I guess since it comes from Nintendo, I shouldn't expect much in terms of photo realistic graphics.

As Psylokcolossus mentions, you are comparing it to a game released 13 years and 2 gens ago. Even if you compared to the last MuA game, 10 years ago what we saw does not hold a candle to the games released in 2018 and you have low standards if the bar set is that it matches a game from 10 years ago. The trailer was not good and does not look like what a game coming out in 2019 should be

Hm, all I know is I have a ps4 and I need a game with a lot of X-Men in it. Doesn't have to be Legends III.

Can't believe they made another MUA game after so many years... and not to mention the 2nd one was such a downgrade.

The graphics do indeed look very weak, compare it to recent Mortal Kombat games which also juggle different characters. And that voice acting... omg. No surprise Wolverine is the only X-Men showing up here.

I am completely fine with it not looking high-end like the recent Mortal Kombat games or other triple A games. I'm sure that's what we'll get with Square-Enix's Avengers project. I like that it looks more cartoony. The only thing that bothers me is that it seems to look worse than games like Marvel Strike Force on mobile platforms. The textures could definitely look a bit sharper.

It just hope it's fun to play and that characters will actually feel unique.
