Anyway, I re-read the Kaine story in #1 again recently and, unsuprisingly, enjoyed it more. JMD really layers his stories with psychological subtext, insight not always gleaned upon first reading.
Unfortunately I don't see myself buying subsequent issues - I don't care about Spidey's default rogue's gallery that much.
