Ok. I am officially leaving for the airport. It's been fun. But I've. Packed away my web shooter for now. Good-bye one and all. This is the real-deal.'see you soon, I guess. And WW, when I come back, I want to see ALOT of progress. To nolder, it's a shame you weren't online today at this time. I would've liked to discuss with you more. To spidey, keep up the good research. I will miss you all for the time being because you people are probably the only people in the world actually trying to create a web shooter. To MarvelFan, : D!!!!!!!!!!! I'll see you all
After then. Perhaps at that time. A web shooter will be complete and we will all be our own Spider-Men in New York or London or something. : )!!!!!!!!! I wish you all luck and a farewell from me. Goodbye everyone!!!!!!!!!!!

aww shucks. I was just waking up at noon when you posted this. see you soon phantom!! hopefully you can find a computer in England and check up on us and maybe discuss with me more! I don't know if you'll see this, but here it goes!
so the web you make has the stiffness of a twizzler? or the texture? both?

And I think I know what you did :cwink:. you made the suction hole of the vacuum smaller so it generated more suction. right?

as for the motor, maybe putting the spool part INSIDE your cartridge? to do this, you would just need to put the spool in the cartridge, fit the small rotating shaft of the motor through a small hole (then figure out a way to make that air tight and still let the shaft rotate), then connect the two through the cartridge wall. if it works like I think it'll work, when you shoot the web, the pressure will push the web out, but some web will still stay attached to the spool. then you can turn the motor on, and it will reel it in like a fishing pole except alot faster.

Well that makes me feel worse about it. : (!!! WW, does your web shooter fire a web, or just a liquid?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

In order for it to turn into a web, the acetone must evaporate. In order to do that, heat it up. It is called Dry Spinning

Can someone send me a link where I can get copper/metal flexible 1/2 inch tubing? Thanks :woot:

Woah, woah there MarvelFan. Biothread's are actually pretty expensive and Biothread's are difficult to make!!!!!!!!!!
Can somebody can explain me what the hell is that Biothread stuff ?? What is its components ?? How we can make it ???

Go to this website: http://biothread.webstarts.com/ if you saw the amazing spiderman movie, you'll know what this stuff is. Basically, it's the same stuff that Peter used as his webbing, this is actually called biocable, and it's manufactured by oscorp in the movie.

NO NO NO NO NO. It's a scam. ughfgf. we're making our own webbing. I know PVA is the newest ingredient. the other parts I am not sure.

I never meant to say we should use this as the webbing. I was just showing people something that is as similar to the movie as it can get. I already know it's a scam.
