I'm talking about if someone were to swing like Spider-Man does... dropping from 90 feet and then shooting something and grabbing on? That could rip them off.
Yeah, a body frame would work. But dropping from a high point and then shooting a web? Like in the new movie... he falls from 100 feet and then shoots a web... that would destroy you.

Right, clyde. Yeah, he went on his latter-day saint 2 year mission; I think it's reqired.

Other reasons we can't swing: no formula could hold us, we couldn't hold on, and we may get caught by the police.

But, let's get off this subject and get back to the task at hand.

Here's what I think we should do next... we should work on the mechanism that actually propels the fluid; I think it's something that's not focused on enough.

I think if were gonna talk about the physics of swinging we should make a separate thread. I think swinging is possible but I don't wanna discuss it here because it will spam this thread.

Guys, I need some time off. I am leaving the web shooter project alone for a little while, probably until the end of next week, or maybe a little earlier. I just need a little time off from it, what, with all these new people flooding in, it's getting a bit hard to think. And now everyone wants to worry about swinging, though it's incredibly dangerous. But, to each his own.
I may be mildly on to agree or disagree with ideas, once or twice on my break. I just need to get out of here for little bit and focus on school and work for a bit.

Lol goku9600 that was funny. But anyway, point is I want to believe you and I'm sure others do too. It would be "amazing" if we had swinging. If you claim you have done it, then the only way people will be inspired by your act is to prove it with something they can actually see. Otherwise for example, someone can come say they have built an ironman suit and it flies and does everything ironman can. It would be great if his claims are true but there is no way of knowing because he could be lying but there's no way to tell for sure. I'm not saying your lying I'm just saying it would be nice to see some footage. Maybe enroll someone to take your video for you and post a link.

You mentioned to test your formula and that is a valid thing to do. In fact as I mentioned to you before, I will do tests, sometime soon on your formula, as well as the other formulas on the realwebtech website. I will write up all the properties of each formula and show pictures so people will get an idea of which ones work and what their capabilities are. I appreciate your contribution to the web formula and I appreciate you being in the forum. Thanks.

hi spider14, welcome!
well, we have a bunch of different formulas, but non have been perfectly tested or even tested at all!
and the ones that work are not strong enough.
if you have read the forums, as you state, then you should have picked up several promising formulas!
if you want the formulas you can find them on realwebtech or you can read the last 20 pages of the web formula forums, there you should find all the information you need!

1.) would it be a good idea to use a metal flask as a cartridge?
2.) since I don't have the money to buy tools to do this can I ask (and Im not sure if you guys are ok with this) but if one you have free time or whatever, do you think it's possible for one of you guys could do a pair of webshooters for me...? I have a design for one but I don't have tools, and wouldn't know how to do it. Although I am doing my own formula. Please. I'd be willing to pay. P.M. Me if you want to help.
