1: the metal cartridge is a perfect idea! it will hold the pressure with ease
2: I've sent you a p.m., I might be able to help you!

Thanks dude! :D but I still have to finish up the designs but I'll make sure to send you them A.S.A.P.

Probably no progress, I'm waiting for waldatmons formula test to be posted!

id like to have one or watch a tutorial cuz i wonder what the motor is its so small

Hey guys, sorry I haven't been able to upload the video. Youtube doesn't like the new video format I'm using, so I'm going to have to convert. But, the formula tests went pretty well. I might just use this formula, as I am not looking for a "swinging-ready formula" (as there is no way I, nor any other with such limited resources, could achieve it anyway). Expect the video this week after I find the conversion program.

which formula

Guys, we have a problem. Kind of.
For those of you using CO2 canisters, I just figured out that they are covered by a nonremovable cap, which you have to puncture and keep the needle in to have all the CO2 stay inside and not all run out.
So, we have to figure out a safe way to puncture the cap and keep the CO2 on the shooter without it shooting off or having all the CO2 running out.
On airsoft guns, you put the canister in a clip and screw down in, which contains it. At some point, the force of the needle on the canister punctures the cap, but the CO2 does not run out. We need to emulate this somehow, but my concern is that we need a REALLY strong needle.

I suppose we could use any sharp needle, but it would need proper bracing. We would need a cylinder, with 4 pylons connecting to ever 90 degrees of the cylinder corresponding with the needle. So we have 4 pylons coming into the needle connecting to the outside of the container. But, that would mean not a lot of the needle could go inside the canister.
Perhaps we can find some airsoft replacement needles or something.

Or we can just use a threaded co2 cartridge and screw on a small ballgame to that!
I'll try to get a design up by tomorrow!

Can you show us a picture of one, spidey? I've never heard of that...
