For my first time making a functioning web shooter I need it to at least shoot 6 feet. As for the weight I need at least around 3 pounds. My current formula is Turpentine, PVA, Contact cement, Polyterpene, Latex, And a little water.the substance is going to be like maple syrup and I have a high pressure nozzle.

Are you still using the water gun?
It probably won't work, as Elxiah and I have already said.

I don't think real web tech is very active anymore but I hop on it a few times for inspiration.

I have no idea what AWSProjects is.

I still hop on RWT to post pictures.
I too do not know what AWSProjects is...

New formula, isn't that strong but it will do. My formula is acetic acid,50% isopropyl alcohol,magnetic/metallic liquid, and spray adhesive. And this formula is made for my exactly my shooter.

And what exactly is your shooter?

I ditched the water gun idea, thats a toy. But I got a new idea what if you make a cartridge and you know when you take a button off of an aerosol can there is a tube and when you press it it lets it out so what if you put that on a pressurized cartridge and when you click the cartridge in the shooter it lets out the fluid thru a very small tube and there is a spring valve blocking it when you press a button it shoots?

I think that would only work if the can was facing upward, as the tube the liquid feeds through only when there is liquid touching the tube, and if it was upside down the liquid would be at the head of the can, and only air will come out.

White_Widow explained this better in his journal/findings thread on here.

Like a whipped cream can what if the tube was really short or no tube at all so it has to be upside down?

I went out paintballing the other day and thought if we could use a similar mechanism with the shooter. I have no idea about how one works so I could use some feedback.

Hey guys. I haven't posted properly on here for a good while, and I was wondering if you could help me out with my new idea. It's on-topic (sort of), since my idea is still a web shooter. But it will shoot water, not webs.
I was wondering whether or not a hand pump would work and whether or not I would need a valve? I've already PM'd JoshPotts on theRPF, but he hasn't replied yet, so I thought you guys could help. Any advice would be appreciated.

Kind regards, SPIDER :bh:

Since it will be my first time making a web shooter I need at least 6 feet that would be a great milestone. And I am currently using a needle nozzle, micro solenoid valve, and a small modified aerosol can for pressure vessel.

Elxiah, why would it tear your limbs off have you ever been on a rope swing or went zip lining?
