Weird Online Habits

No, I'm not talking about all that kinky stuff you look up on the adult sites. I think most of us here grew up with the internet from its infancy and if I ventured a guess, I would say some of us have some weird online habits. For me I always open a new tab before entering an address to the next site I want to go to even though I know I could just type it in on the current site I'm looking at. Another weird thing I do is if I realize I misspelled something or made some other type of mistake I make myself delete everything back to the mistake instead of just highlighting and fixing the mistake.


So what are some of the weird things you do online that you know don't make sense?

I don't ever use my bookmarks. I just type in the website I want and visit lol.

I clear my history and cache on my browser before I turn off my computer. I do this even though it's my own computer. Not specifically an internet thing but I also constantly right click and refresh any computer I am on.

I'm a simple man who likes simple things. The interwebs are full of very weird stuff, I try to avoid those things.

I open up random members' profiles in different tabs and look at what threads they're browsing.

And I like to read profile comments between friends. Hey, they're public.

I was talking about things of the adult variety on the net. Some weird ass stuff out there and I stay as far away from it as possible.

Most of use weren't around during the infancy of the internet if you go by its old history when it was the Advanced Research Projects Agency Network (ARPANET).

If you call finding strange Top 10 lists on YouTube a strange habit, then I guess you can call this my strange internet habit.

I clear my history/cache CONSTANTLY. I always thought I was the only person that did that.
