is the zeus statue still around? or is it destroyed?

...

and what happend to the colossus statue? how was it destory?? have they found any parts from it??

They're both destroyed, all of the ancient ones except the Great Pyramid are gone now.

The Colossus fell down in an earthquake. The left it there, fallen, for years, as they thought they had offended the god Helios (who the statue is of) and so didn't want to move or rebuild it. When Arabs took over Rhodes they sold off the bronze as scrap. There are many random pieces of bronze statues around people claim are from it, but none are definitely real.

The Statue of Zeus was probably destroyed with the temple it was in. The circumstances of this are unsure, probably abandoned with the advent of Christianity. The statue was a wood frame covered in ivory and gold sheets (called a chryselephantine statue), so it wasn't that sturdy and probably didn't last for more than a century or so without upkeep.

Stonehenge still freaks me out a little as to how it got there and what its use was, quite a mystery indeed.

Aliens would be the best explanation but not enough people are open minded enough to believe :(

Thanks for the explanation Leto.

I'm really into ancient architecture and stuff, so I have books laying around to look that sort of thing up. Except for 2, they all were probably destroyed in earthquakes.
The Temple of Artemis's destruction was really weird. This young guy named Herostratius was so determined to become famous that he burned down the temple on purpose and publicly took credit for it. And we still know his name, so it pretty much worked.
