...Well that didn't take long.

Maybe this'll be like the last story called "Return" they did, where a major hero who was dead ended up alive in the present day, but was basically ignored everywhere else.

Poor Mar-Vell.

Giant-Girl isn't Cassie Lang. In one of the recent issues Giant-Girl was unmasked and she was revealed to be Janet van Dyne.

Ross definitely comes off as a prick, but his talent helps me overlook it. There's no way this is the real return of Cap, though. If, IF, Cap comes back, it'll be under Brubaker. It's obviously a red herring.

Alex Ross' ego is trying to make JSA lightning strike twice. Stop it Ross, please stop.

That said, I'll probably buy it.

You are a sheep. And I'd be hating Alex Ross if I were Brubaker right now.

Interview with Ross in the same link.

Hey, if you need someone to hurl some softballs at someone, and call it an interview, Matt Brady is your man!

I would've preferred a comic about the Invaders during the war rather then pulling them to the present and having them interact with the Avengers, but meh... I'll see.

it'd be interesting to see this....but i agree a redoing of the WW2 invaders would be better.

and as for him leaving out union jack and spitfire....he desevres to toast on the firepits of hades for that..

i hope this is ok..

but as stated...time travel rarely equals awesomeness...

The fact that Ross and Marvel is using Time Travel to bring Steve back into the 616 in the wake of his death is sort of disrespectful to Brubaker in my opinion.

Damn, that's cold. Even by Ross' standards.

I'm sure someone at Marvel let Bru in on everything, still shady. Ross needs to talk to Bru mostly about plot details considering Bucky is back in the current Marvel U and all. I just can't shake the feeling that Bru was left out of the loop until the deal was done.

Or how about just not doing this to begin with? I mean, there's literally only one way to lessen the impact of what Brubaker's doing, and that's to bring Steve back in the 616.

Like I said, if he leaves at the end, it really wouldn't be a big deal.

It really depends on how they do this. Is it an in continuity thing that sort of is in continuity reflective of the current state of the Marvel U, but not really talked about. Or is it a Universe spanning change that has deep repercussions for future story lines and such?

That said, I don't trust Ross and Krueger to write anything that should have the deep and meaningful impact that something like this deserves.

And on top of everything, it's a stupid idea to begin with. **** Alex Ross.

It's not even that it's a stupid idea, but there are like 7 projects doing the same thing at this point. Bringing Golden Age characters into modern settings. 2 of them being at Marvel.

Those projects aren't using time travel, though.
