Wes Anderson’s next film, “The French Dispatch,” will hit theaters on July 24, 2020, Searchlight Pictures and Indian Paintbrush announced Wednesday.

The full title of the film is “The French Dispatch of the Liberty, Kansas Evening Sun,” and Anderson wrote and directed the film that brings to life the short stories of the final issue of an American magazine published in a fictional, 20th Century French city.

As with any Anderson film, it has a stellar cast that includes Benicio Del Toro, Adrien Brody, Tilda Swinton, Léa Seydoux, Frances McDormand, Timothée Chalamet, Lyna Khoudri, Jeffrey Wright, Mathieu Amalric, Stephen Park, Bill Murray and Owen Wilson.

Anderson developed the story with Roman Coppola, Jason Schwartzman and Hugo Guinness.

The Grand Budapest Hotel 2: Parisian Boogaloo

Finally a latino in one of his flicks. That’s progress, I suppose. The mexican map on Saoirse Ronan’s cheek doesn’t count.

:o

Anderson is always hit and miss with me.

But, the trailer feels like this is his Pulp Fiction.

That's definitely a Wes Anderson movie. Lot of those shots and cuts remind me of the trailer we got for The Grand Budapest Hotel.

It feels like from the trailer one of those deals where a film maker is in the middle of one project and gets his juices flowing thinking about his next one at the same time.

I wouldn't nbe surprised to learn Anderson had been working on this since GBH.

On a related note, what's Adrien Brody been up to the past few years anyway? I don't recall seeing him in anything- that I know of- since Grand Budapest Hotel.

Well that's definitely a WA movie. And it looks like an inspired one at that.
Not the biggest fan of his work but i do appreciate his craftsmanship and some of his movies.

I feel like Wes Anderson is his bread and butter at this point. He's definitely become one of his regulars, along with Bill Murray and Owen Wilson.

I always love Wes Anderson, and good to see Saoirse is actually in this film. I hadn't noticed her name on the early posters, which probably means it is a small role, but still. :atp:

I enjoy a good amount of his films, I’ll be checking this one out for sure.

I'll definitely be watching this. I usually enjoy his movies.

Looks like peak Wes Anderson. I'll definitely be there opening weekend.

And the Oscar for Best Costume Design goes to.....

I'd include Best Production Design as well but Dune is just lurking in the corner
