The Dark Knight Wha does everyone think of Bale's Batman voice?

In all honesty he does cough and then blow his nose after the line

Christian Bale's voice is perfetct - RUINED in the Italian dubbing, take a look!

Yet the rest of the dubbers are great... but, look, Bale's must SUCK! *******s!

I love it...although there are a couple of lines that seem weird. The scene with him & Gordon right after the Toxin is spread through Gotham as their talking by the Tumbler seemed odd, he kind of sounded like Stone Cold Steve Austin to me haha

Best Batman voice in my opinion. Kevin Conroy may be the voice of Batman but I love the raspyness Christian brings to the table. Plus, the lisp also gives Batman a little uniqueness which I think fits very well. Love that curled lip whenever he speaks.

i still think the "swear to me!" is the pinnacle of batman voice work. the scene where he first introduces himself to gordon ("now we're two") is wonderful as well.

i think its good until they give him a huge speech and then you can tell its just like "oh my god how much longer do i have to rasp?"

If he talks the way he did to Rachel in the Batcave in Batman Begins then it'll be okay since he didn't sound too forced like other times.

But there are times in the TDK trailer where Bruce sounds like a surfer dude, for example when Alfred says "The Batman needs limits" and Bruce responds "The Batman knows no limits".

or maybe I'm just hearing things.

I think christian made a great improvment in the dark knight, sometimes it was good in begins always but sometimes it was badass, like in the dark knight i think it's always sound badass

The man's career, he has been using a different voice, accent, etc - for every role.

This was his choice, and - I'm sure - Nolan's as well. At times, does it seem a little much? Sure. But like some have said, he can't copy what the others have done.

The 'growl' is perfect for this realm of film.

When I first watched Begins, I thought he sounded lame. But after watching it 4 more times, (SWEAR TO ME!! x4) I thought it sounded badass. And he really improved in The Dark Knight. t:
