What accents do you like/hate?

You really need to move on with this whole hating the British accent. I only found out you hated it on friday and already it's old. it's actually coming off as racist now and a touch pathetic.:whatever:

to quote Jerry Seinfeld... "If I like their race, how can it be racist?"

Certain Irish accents can annoy me, because a lot of people make themselves sound like cousin ****ers on purpose.

I, like a number of Irish people talk in what I would consider a regular Irish accent, then you've got...What the British people would call ''chavs'' or what Americans would prefer to as ''gangsta's''. Some country people are just as bad. Not even I can understand such baffle.

Dublin accent can be annoying too, as well as city people forcing this horse accent country people have.

Polish accent can get annoying. Some Polish sound like a deaf person speaking.

I really dislike the Indian and Belfast too.

I do like Southern American, California, Toronto and Scottish accents.
Not a fan of Jackines huh Lunar? :cwink:

I can't remember which comedian said it but he said the Belfast accent sounds really serious.
I would prefer a chick with that cockney twang as opposed to the more proper one, whatever you wanna call it. Those chicks have that kind of voice where you just know they'd be down for anything...and I mean anything. :awesome:
You need a Newcastle girl (geordie) like Stan Lee.
They are known for going out at night wearing mini skirts and boob tubes in like minus 10 degrees.

Just google image Geordie - Francoise Boufhal

Scouse (Liverpool). It just sounds sO dirty. On women, I want to bum them. They are horrible and filthy and I love them for a while.

I dislike whatever accent Bamfer is butchering at the time...

Just to annoy Harls, I think I'm going to butcher as many English accents as I can muster on Skype this weekend. That'd pretty much be the Queen's English, Chav, Jafaican, and Scouse. Fair warning: I'm terrible at all of them. It's well shameful.

It's normally Middle-Eastern 'I shot your women and raped your children' subtle chic. Like once he told me to have another whiskey to get me talking and I woke up with a condom in my mouth. The sad thing: I loved him even more. He left me a note. It said: Thanks for the drinks and the good time but late for Mcd's breakfast--gotta go *bamf*

Racism is not just something encountered by black & asian people. In the Uk you can be charged as a racist for mocking a irish, scottish or welsh for their accent or anything to do with where they are from.

I'm not sure on the law in the USA.

You can actually be charged for jokingly mocking someone???

It's not like that in the States, but how PC things are becoming over here, it won't be long before we adopt that same BS.

Being PC is getting a little out of hand. I read the other day that Black people would now prefer a black coffee is not named a black coffee, as it's racist. It should be called a coffee without milk.

I mean i know its, not all black people (probably a small minority, i have a black friend who finds it hilarious) but it's still madness.

Is there some answering service that I forgot to "press # for no" somewhere when this was up for debate?

That doesn't even make sense. What kind of idiot can't dissociate black people from black colored food & objects?

It's even worse when someone tries to fake it  :oldrazz:

Well certain Black groups in the UK are against using the term to describe them (same with the term 'Half Caste') as they are not actually black.

Personally i dont see it as offensive, yet i'm not black (my Black friend finds it amusing,) There was quite a few names that they also hate being refered to as, but i forget them.

The American southern accent is just the opposite.

Hey!!! I resemble that remark. However, I do, I say, I do hate hearing actors faking it in movies and not doing it justice. There's a lot of character and respectability in the southern accent.

The same idiot who gives me a funny look when I tell them I take my coffee strong and black.

That's almost like people I know saying black people only eat chocolate ice cream and chocolate milk because it's brown.

Well damn. If they don't like people calling them black, that's one thing. It's insane to get offended when someone refers to black coffee as black. Not unless the coffee itself is complaining.

Personaly, a like southern accent on a guy sounds sexy but if it is too heavy I begin to dislike it. I do love a guy with a Russian accent.

There are two kinds of southern accents. There's the kind that makes the person sound dumb as a rock, and the other where it's somewhat of a quirk, but they don't sound like an idiot.
