I think the British accent on some women is very cool and can be sexy.

The American southern accent is just the opposite.

I find the Australian accent on women sexy.

:lmao: <--- That is literally what I just did before typing this. There are tears in my eyes because of it. xD

But really...

I hate a lot of accents. Most prominently, English accents.... actually, any kind of British at all. I. Can't. Stand. Them.

My favorite is probably Russian or German.

But nah, no Britishness in general for the Harls :word:

I don't like or hate any accents, but certain ones do (unfairly) paint my first impressions of people.

Southern and Cockney accents tend to make people sound stupider, British accents tend to make people sound more knowledgable, etc.

Oh, I see. You mean the conventional stereotypes. I thought you might have meant something like, "Christian Bale's Batman voice is the worst ever in the history of Batman voices... EVER!!"

A hot chick can get away with just about any accent.

It's the dudes you want to punch in the jaw.

It is, but that's besides the point.

Nope. Ever see a hot chick with a strong Russian accent?

Any type of accent on a girl sounds hot.

For guys if they start sounding like the guys from Jersey Shore or your local 7-11 Apu sounding fool then that makes me upset.

And now for the girls, do they like a spanish accent like Antonio Banderas or a spanish accent like the guy that sells oranges off the freeway ramps?

Cant stand Americans that have that thick Jersey accent. Sorry. :cwink:

Accents can make or a break a woman for me, I've seen plenty of fine women with either a strong indian accent or Jamaican one. Now to me this is a problem because the Jamaican accents I grew up on were my grandparents and older members of my church so its hard to separate that. Same goes for the indian one :P

I love a woman with a posh British accent like liz hurley, ooo that does it for me. As does a hispanic one.

I dont really mind accents to be honest but if I had to pick I'd say French but thats usually just for men.

I do love a posh English accent. Hell, I'll take the whole gamut of English accents, with the exception of Cornish. I think Jafaican is absolutely hilarious sounding, though.

You're nuts, go watch X-Men the animated series from the early 90s, and try to tell me that Rogue's southern accent is not incredibly sexy and cool.

I honestly can't think of an accent that bugs me.

Love: A harsh-sounding European accent(Think Russia, not Wales)

Hate: Boston and the Dakotas

I love latin accents.

I rarely even notice British / English accents, but I really hate it when someone *cough* sanctuary *cough* imitates one badly.

I thought Spike from Buffy's English accent was very good, it didn't sound fake at all, but when I saw him talking in his normal US accent it sounded fake to me, as i was so used to him speaking with the English accent.
edit: Mind you, that was when I first heard his natural accent on the dvds of Buffy, doing an interviiew, but when he appeared on smallville, I got used to his US accent, and so he didn't sound fake to me at all.

Your trifling and condescending tone implies trying to tell you anything is akin to explaining how paint dries to a brick wall.

Like: Southern, French, various African, English

Dislike: Cockney, Russian, German, Indian, Quebecois (different from French... very different)

I don't hate any, and my favourite is the British accent.

For me, the most instantly recognizeable accent in the world is Irish.
