What are your hopes for series 7?

Given that recent news has had a mixed reception lets all get back on the happy train and think about what we want for series 7. We have 22 more episodes of clark kent so what do you want from it?

i'll start.
- i want more kryptonian stuff, fortress, jor-el, lara
- i want more of the DC universe- more MM and the justice league led by green arrow.
- i want less shipping
- less chloe
- more humour
- more evil lex- like the end of subterranean. so damn cool
- more lois- my favourite incarnation of lois ever!
- I want dean cain and helen slater

and most of all i want fewer threads on the superherohype smallville boards about batman t:

Although more emphasis on Clark's character and development would be at the top of my list if I were to create such a list.

Diana. I can deal with the fact we won't ever get Bruce Wayne. It's still a stupid rule, that they won't let movie & tv versions of a character exist at around the same time, but Batman movies are presently being made so I can deal.

But Wonder Woman is in production hell, and in all likelihood, still will be when Smallville finally ends. A cameo or two of a young Diana wouldn't affect anything in the slightest. A WW ban on Smallville is stupid and pointless at this juncture. But I digress.

But in the realm of possiblities what would I hope to see? Same answer as in the season 7 thread...a Dean Cain appearance. That would be awesome.

Why claim such a thing if it cannot be fulfilled?

If you're serious you might as well get that video camera & do it right now.. because half of that stuff has already been confirmed lol, and some of it goes without saying.

- series finale. Instead of stretching it for one more year they should use their efforts into doing the best season ever with no filler episodes if possible and end the show with a bang meaning we finally see Tom as Superman, Lex going to Metropolis to build on his evil empire and vowing to forget all about his time in Smallville.

I'd like an episode where Martha or Chloe experiance a future that is DKR bases with Clark working for the government and fighting their wars. I'd like to see Clancy Brown cast as his 'Government Watchdog' to make sure he doesn't get in any trouble and to basically give him a companion. In DKR I seem to remember Clark having some sort of 'partner' so maybe Brown could be that character, but more expanded upon. I'd also like to see Tim Daly cast as a 'holographic president' control by, of course, Lex. This episode would take place at least thirty-five years into the future of the current timeline.

This would actually be better suited for a TV movie or Direct to video release.

I would like to see less posts saying that Smallville should 'stop stretching it out', or claiming they should hurry up and get to the finale. People who want Clark to 'just become superman already', should just stop watching the show, and wait until they hear there's gonna be a series finale, and then watch that.

there goes my bitterness for the night. =)

What are your hopes for series 7?

Some actual hopes I have include:

- More about Krypton
- Clark debating the secret identity thing. (maybe even clashing with Lana about it. Considering the secrets and lies past. perhaps he wants to go out there as Clark saving people, and Lana thinks he needs to protect himself. or vice versa)
- The fall of Luthor Corp, and the rise of Lex Corp
- Perry taking over as editor of the Planet
- Dean Cain, somewhere, somehow.
- I'd love to see John Shea, personally.
- More subtle Gotham and batman references. Actually more talk about other DC cities.
- More magic. (ZOMG.DRFATE.LOLOLOL)
- More stuffs.
