What are your thoughts on friends with benefits?

i guess i'm not against friends with benefits, just as long as i know she's not sleeping with anyone else.

There is the flaw....you shouldnt care either way. thats why its not called a relationship. you hook up when you don't want to put the work in elsewhere

You see...back during the stone age the Caveman wanted to f--k as many cavewomen as possible BUT he also wanted the old lady to stay at home and take care of things. This was an understanding men and women had till the 1960s. The rules have changed since then. For the better? You decide.

Yes there are some exceptions of high school sweethearts getting married. But the majority of "relationships" you have during high school are pretty trivial by the time you get into college and especially out.

Agreed. In HS you're going through the learning process. And, I don't mean sexually but relationship-wise. Face it, you may have had a girlfriend in Elementary and Middle School but your first "relationship" was in high school.

i've thought about it ,being friends and having a wee bit of benefits,(haven't tried it though) and my friends always call me the one that doesn't date. the label just makes me feel uncomfortable right now. even a friend of mine was like look ( he's with someone), until you are ready and feel uncomfortable, just don't date.

I don't see the point of friends with benefits if the benefits do not include sex. Just making out? Seems kind of lame and juvenile. And I realize what I just said sounds undeniably ****ty, but it's true. You don't need one friend you just make out with, I mean, you can make out with anyone.

The point of a friends with benefits is no strings attached sexola.

That's not to say I have sex with everyone. Or even make out with everyone. But I'm pretty sure if I like you enough to make out with you, then I probably like you enough to have sex with you.

So to get back on topic, friends with benefits is probably not a good idea, but sometimes you just want sex. And if you can find someone who just wants some sex as well, indulge yourself if you want. It's irresponsible, but not as irresponsible as banging some random person whenever you have the itch.

And yes, high school relationships are very tiring.
