What are your top 10 comics of the decade?

Well, okay, technically speaking that's exactly what the year 2000 is, the end of the '90s. I mean, you're right, most people don't see it like that, and it does seems kind of weird to say, but it's correct. It's...the calender man, you cannot defeat time. YOU CANNOT DEFEAT TIME!

So...i noticed nearly everybody put Daredevil on their list. That character had a fantastic decade.

I can't have as comprehensive a list as most of you since I curbed my buying significantly since 2002. But I'll give it a try in no particular order:

Knights of the Old Republic
Nova
Batman (sigh...Grant Morrison's run)
Annihilation
Civil War
Blade of the Immortal
Punisher MAX
Guardians of the Galaxy
Northlanders

I guess technically 2000 would be the end of the 1990's and 2010 would be the end of the 00's because there was no year 0, but that was sooo Before Christ. A lot's happened since then and I just say screw 'em. 1990 is the 90's. 2000 is the 00's. And holy mylanta, we're in our second decade of the milennium with 2010! If there's nothing else Obama taught me he at least taught me one thing, accept change

What was before Christ? We're talking about Year 1, and lack of year zero, in AD, not BC

It's close enough to still count. I'll just consider 1 BC in the 1's decade :)

for me ive loved
civil war
secret invasion
dark reign
siege
captain America
cap britain and mi13
amazing spider-man
Thor
Hercules
avengers (new,mighty and even dark)
and surprisingly iron fist..i never really bothered with him or luke cage but they are some of my faves now!

Yeah, it was Immortal Iron Fist that made me not just like the character but acknowledge his existence. I just didn't care one way or the other about the guy and when he'd show up I was like "eh." Now he's in my top 3 favorite characters

no order but my first one and that is Y the Last Man. Easily the best comic of the decade and up there in the top 10 of all time for me.

the rest in no order:

John's Green Lantern run: Got me into the character and has been amazing

Astonishing X-Men: Am a wheadonite and whil some of the main plot was out tre, it really got the core characters as whedon always does.

Brubaker's Captain America: Got everything right about Captian Amerca and did the impossible of bringin Bucky back and making him a top tier marvel character.

infinite Crisis: This monoplized my life before I had a kid as a read everything leading up to as well as the event.

Civil War: Was a good twist to the universe

Ultimate Spider-ma: Got me back into comics after a hiatus.

100 Bullets
All-Star Superman
Amazing Spider-Man (Straczynski)
Captain America (Brubaker)
Daredevil
DC: The New Frontier
Immortal Iron Fist
Planetary
The Walking Dead
Y: The Last Man

In no particular order:

Dr. Strange: The Oath
Captain Britain and MI-13
Incredible Hercules
Thor (both the King Thor Saga under Jurgens and JMS' relaunch)
Wildcats v3.0
The Walking Dead
Planetary
I Kill Giants
The Damned
Gotham Central

In no particular order

Planetary - Sure it was delayed but it was also one of my favourite comics of all time. Beautiful artwork and more ideas than you could shake a stick at.

Immortal Iron Fist - last decade has seen Iron Fist and Luke Cage get some focus and its improved them both for the better. Goes to show what can happen if you let solid writers give some attention to some lesser characters.
Not Surprised Marvel wants to make a film based off the recent Iron Fist run.

Young Avengers & Runaways - These two are the gold standard as far Teen Superhero teams go over the last decade. Runaways lost its way when Vaughn let IMO and the long delays with heinberg were frustrating but these are still two of my favourites.

Deus Ex Machina - One Word AWESOME!

all I can think of right now off the top of my head
