I was just thinking, after talking with some friends, what happens after we die? What do you think? Do we go to Heaven?

-NO Anti-Religious Comments thanks

:awesome:

Worm-food. **** yeah!

Facebook!

Those worms will starve on my corpse...

Stuff Heaven! Go to Hell, where all of the drinkers, gamblers, rock stars, and loose women end up.

They are going to be so full at one point, I can already see God.
"Okay Satan, we need to stop the deaths and such, where are we going to put them all?"
"Uh... one of those clown cars, you can fit so many in them... I love those...

Ashes for me, thank you very much.

You die, go to your own personal heaven, then some idiot re-animates you corpse and brings you back.. then your all like:doh:

1) 6 feet under in a coffin where our body slowly rots

or

2) A furnace for cremation and then the ashes are either,
a) stored in an urn on the mantle of a loved one, or
b) scattered over a favorite place

I don't go in for any of the spiritual/religious stuff so I don't believe anything happens to you after you die. Unless you count the autopsy, organ harvest, embalming, dressing/makeup and burial.

Heaven And Hell itself is mostly about people fleecing you and making you believe whatever they want you to. "The world is full of kings and queens that blind your eyes and steal your dreams." Pay attention man, don't' miss Dio's wisdom.

I was more enthralled with Iommi's guitar and Geezer's bass.

Oh yeah, you can't not love Tony and Geezer. I'm a guitar player too so Tony was a huge influence on me growing up, but Dio's my favorite singer ever.

I believe you come before God and give an account for your life. Every deed, action and motivation of the heart is examined. Everyone stands guilty for not giving God the full loving regard of our hearts that he deserves as the most supremely valuable infinite Being (this is the heart of sin). However, those that had faith in the sacrificial death and resurrection of Jesus will counted perfect just as his love for his father was perfect and will be ushered into the presence of the full glory of God and live eternally in ever increasing joy.

Those that did not trust in Jesus will stand guilty of eternal treason and be cast out from the presence of God. The Bible calls this place Hell, or Gehenna. The language used to describe it is a place where there will be eternal sorrow and weeping.

So, basically... we just have to look to Jesus.

Doesn't that seem a little petty? "You didn't love me enough before you met me, so you get to spend eternity in Hell." It makes one question whether an unforgiving god like that deserves our love.

I don't think so, especially when you start to understand what it means to truly be holy.

But, honestly, how can you say that God is unforgiving when he gives his Son, who has existed with him in a perfect loving relationship for all eternity, up to die for your transgression? That is more like infinitely forgiving. And all he asks in return is that you love the Son and believe in him and you get eternal life with endless joy. That sounds more like infinite mercy than unforgiveness.

I'll take the place with the Labradors. :)

I'm content with my lack of belief.

Though I can't decide whether I want to go here

For me, it's a very important decision

God is asking me to love him unconditionally based entirely on his reputation. For not taking the word of some guy who heard from some other guy, I'm gonna get sent to a pit of fire for all eternity. That hardly seems fair. And if I die and meet the big guy, is he gonna forgive me then? Is he gonna say "It's okay. There were a lot of different people saying different things about me, plus you hadn't even met me, but if you'd like to get to know me now, you're free to enter Heaven"?

Pretty sure this is going to turn into a full fledged raging fight anytime soon, but I don't really worry about it too much

When I die it would be nice if something was 'waiting' but even if there isn't... who cares. I'll be dead
