Don't know that much about Jessica Jones but I have no problem with her headlining a show. Daredevil is a dream come true and while I've always envisioned Power Man and Iron Fist a "Superhero Rush Hour" movie, the individual solo shows have lots of potential.

Would you change any of the four if given the chance? If so, with who?

I really like the choices they made. If i would have changed anything. i think i would have had Luke Cage and Iron Fist combined into one series and do a Daughters of the Dragon series with Misty Knight and Colleen Wing.

I love the idea and I think it's brilliant but I suppose if I had my way I would have chucked in moon knight as well.

Plus I would make iron fist an asian American character so that it's not a mighty whitey story

I would've preferred Punisher or Blade instead of Jessica Jones, but I'm good with the other 3.

Would've preferred Punisher or Blade over Jones as well^ but overall good picks

Daredevil I'm interested in, the rest, the Heroes for Hire part, I can live with. It's absurd to call them Defenders, though

Love Daredevil and Iron Fist and am agnostic on Cage and Jones. Ill watch em all for sure but I think Daredevil and Fist have the met potential.

Charlie Cox is an interesting choice as Daredevil but I think he will pull it off.

Totally a guess here, Coulson will be responsible for the creation of the Defenders in the same vein that Fury was responsible for the Avengers!!!

I'm looking forward to the Daredevil series, and while I would have preferred a Power Man & Iron First team-up, I'm looking forward to their individual series as well. Not particularly interested in Jessica Jones. I'd rather see a series on Misty Knight...Moon Knight...Nighthawk...even Hellcat.

I have no clue about Jessica Jones, and I would prefer if they replaced her someone like Spider-Woman or The Punisher or Moon Knight.

I have no idea why Jessica jones is getting so much hate. Read alias, it's really good!

It doesn't matter, there are hundreds of characters that they could have picked, they went with the ones they wanted to do so it's all for the best.

It's the same for Agent Carter. Fan boys want Punisher or other characters that they are already familiar with.

I think Jessica Jones offers something different. Jones is a washed up damaged former superhero who works as a Private investigator.

I can see why that would appeal to Marvel. You can have Jones investigating all kinds of stuff in the MCU interacting with a variety of characters.

Feige says at Marvel they want to adapt diverse things people won't expect to keep it interesting for themselves and the audience so that it isn't doesn't become boring or predictable.

Daredevil I'm obviously excited about, as I am Luke Cage.

Jessica Jones im 50/50 about, but if they throw in all the perverse Purple Man stuff it should be interesting, refreshing to see a 'hero' as damaged as she is.

Iron Fist I don't really care about at all, but thats only because I never really paid much attention to his character, I'm sure there are a lot of guys out there who love Iron Fist and his upcoming show is their number 1. I only ever read about him in Heroes for Hire and none of his solo stuff. Therefore I would have much preferred a Heroes for Hire series.

Im gonna watch all 4 shows regardless of my opinion at this time, I would like to think that after Defenders, Daredevil goes his own way and will get a second season, Luke Cage and Iron Fist will team up and co star together in a Heroes for Hire series, possibly feature Jessica Jones as a 3rd co-star, not sure her story calls for a second solo series. That could also free up 2 other series, Blade? Punisher? Moon Knight? Who knows.......

That is why I am (cautiously) optimistic that one of the phase 3 films will either be Black Panther or Ms. Marvel. I don't see Avengers 3 until 2018, so there's an empty slot for Fall 2017.

Moon Knight seems likely for the next wave of Netflix shows. Over the years they've considered adapting him on tv. Thankfully, Marvel would have creative control on the character rather than the previous candidates.

As for Punisher, I've always wanted to see him in a crossover with Daredevil. Hopefully, we'll get that not too far down the road.

Daredevil - great

Iron Fist and Luke Cage - okay, but not really of much interest

Jessica Jones - who the hell is she and who cares...?

I guess I'm in the minority, but after Daredevil, Jessica Jones is the one I'm most looking forward to. I very much like the choices

In the future I'd ad MoonKnight, Silver Sable, and Shang Chi

I'll prepare my flame ******ant clothing, but Punisher has had enough chances, I don't need to see yet another version of him in live action ;o

I quite like the choices, Luke Cage, Iron Fist and Jessica Jones are all closely linked in the comics, and Daredevil is just a good street level hero. I do see the current Moonknight run as being a good fit for a future series.

To be honest, in not all cases but in some cases I think it's because there's a leading woman in the show

I like the current line up, but would like to see Moon Knight in the future.

I'm looking forward to all of them, but I think Jessica Jones might have a chance at being the most unique of the bunch. That is, if they go with the former superhero turned private investigator thing.

If there's a Netflix phase 2, I'd like to see one or more of Punisher, Moon Knight, She-Hulk, and Cloak and Dagger. Guess it would depend on which of the Phase 1 shows they bring back.

I like the line up as-is, but I do wish at least one more show had made the initial Defenders set-up roster. One of the above mentioned (except Punisher), OR someone like Dr Strange, Valkyrie, or even a minor female hero like Hellcat could have fit in well (and still might in Season 2) .

Dr. Strange is coming as a movie.
