What do you think of the Hood, insteresting villain or boring villain?

Definitions kind of vary for this; personally I opt for the "uncanny ability to warp the plot around themselves" factor as the salient characteristic.

Fair enough.

It's just easier to tack on that label with a, say, Layla Miller in HOM or Claremont's Sage in some of his past X-stories.

I just think Bendis has ideas for characters and it doesn't matter to him if it has been done before, or if it is out of character, he hammers that square peg into the circle hole anyway. Plus, both Marvel and DC have this idea of, "any plot point that was not done under the current EIC tenure has never really happened" so Bendis matches that.

But, yeah, Hood was botched.

Why thank you. Been doing nothing but workin out and watching Bleach in my free time for the past 2 weeks :D

I think what I really enjoy about Bleach is that the setting basically allows for any extravagantly idiotic thing the writer could ever possibly care to do with it.
