I`ll give you some comments

Defining moments.

The vocals at the start sound whiney and are boring to listen too.
The drummer sounds out of place the beats he is doing on the kick drum dont fit the pace of the song.
Guitarist is good some nice solos.
And its wayyyyyyy to long!
5 mins in take out your darkness thing its rubbish

Evil or Devine

Nice intro on Keyboards got my intrest so far
****ty drumming again
Nice guitar work
Lost intrest again by 3mins :)

Death Dealer

Starts out ok
Vocals kick in they are ok, not much range in the voice over all 3 of these songs you know and that dam drummer is making way to much noise over the singging with the kick drum.

I hope you didn`t pay to do these in a studio because your sound engineer should be fired.

No we didnt pay anything... It cost us nothing at all really. Thanks for your critisism. The kick is very bass... Esspecially in death dealer. Overall most of the songs are bassy and mono with the exceptions of the keyboards. Its the best we can do now... Its just for reference until we save money for a studio and record better quality versions, but these are good for the price of almost nothing. Thanks for the critisism guys, and no hard feelings at all. :)

and you you have taken the links down because you dont want eveyone bashing you...

Your going to get it alot, when you start playing gig (if your not already) people that dont know you will be just standing there, some of them will shout out your **** get off! and what not, but thats the way it goes, thats life!

Your right...

Like someone mentioned earlier, you need a sound engineer. I listened to death dealer, and honestly I kinda like the song, but it's almost like the vocals are in a totally different key that everything else. Perhaps a vocal coach? I'm not saying the vocalist is bad, but he just needs some direction, but it is hard to tell whats going on with the muddy sounding recording.

Also, I think your sound would be a lot better if you put some mids into your guitar amp, rather than scooping them all out, put them at about 12 oclock or so. Or you could split the sound by layering with two amps, one with no mids, with the other at 12 oclock or so.

okay, I listned to a bit more, and I gotta say if you guys are signed, and get some good time in the studio, I think you will sound pretty darn good.

I'll pass your ideas to the guitarist. Your not the only one who has a problem with the vocals... I might recommend him that. The quality of recording is nowhere near great, but its pretty good for something that didnt cost us almost nothing.

Thank you for the kind words. :)

everybody has pretty much given the same pointers, I really doubt there's anything new I could contribute, Man-Thing's critique was pretty acurate with what I would have said

although, I have to admit I'm somewhat stoned (the vacations effect is starting to kick in) and that I find most classic metal ludicrous (it's just a personal opinion) the performances aren't that bad, you guys sound tight (the keyboard guy could help from coming out of simple chord figures, they become stale soon

pretty nice, indeed

oh, one more thing, Clobberin Time did a thread about poster's bands and websites, this could be merged with it, of course, deleting some of the ******* comments at the begining could help
