Indeed. He was a near perfect angel, all for nothing. All the promo pics of Angel in the x-suit, and we get JACK.

He needs to be archangel, if Ellen can come back, so can Ben! Archangel would be a marvel to see on screen. Those wings! I can see the VSFX already.

Yeah Angel should comeback and the writers/director should redeem his character.

But I think it should be done in a X-Men movie not in X-Force. They already introduced him in X-Men 3, I don't see why he should appear in a X-Force movie and not in a X-Men movie.

Plus there would probably a bigger impact to the X-Men than X-Force if Angel eventually turned to Archangel.

Just out of curiosity, have you read Uncanny X-Force Vol. 1? It was an amazing series with mostly A-list X-characters and Apocalypse as the main villain. You keep saying X-Force doesn't warrant these characters, and I think it's because you're assuming they're doing 90s X-Force.

I agree he's not perfect, but he's not any more dissimilar to his comic book counterpart than any of the other cast members. Yes, Angel is supposed to be taller and look basically like... well, an angel. But Storm is also supposed to be basically 6-feet-tall, Jean is supposed to be shorter, Logan is supposed to be the runt, and the list goes on and on.

My point was that Ben worked really hard for the role and it was such a waste of his talent and efforts. As Archangel, he wouldn't have to meet your beauty requirements, so the point is really moot. Ben actually has a great jawline for a masked Archangel haha.

I agree and I think Foster looked great as Angel and that body. Given the material he had I think he could do better if given better material.

Ryan definetly was more hot/rich boy looking.

But I was really happy to have Ben on the franchise, he is easily one of the most talented young actors today and of course of the X-Men saga, along with Ellen Page and Jennifer Lawrence.

Ive seen most of his movies, and he is really really good. (if some of you havent, watch 3:10 to Yuma). I see a really promising future for him. Lets see what new proyects he gets in the next two/three years.

Ben foster is the perfect angel people. Angel shouldn't have any body fat, Ben was lean as hell and blonde. He's got the face of an angel, everything. He was just given complete crap to work with! Ben is a better actor than anyone mentioned above lol. So much better. Lol! X3 was just that horrible.

Haha, I had a wild daydream about the same kind of thing, but instead of Bamfs he hear cyclops beam sound effect, and then see a sentinels arm and leg singed completely off falling to its death, then cut to a zoom in of marsden as Cyclops with his fingers on the visor. cut to black. Hahaha.
