We totally need X4, if they make it, it should be called X-Men:Revalations. That would be a cool title. I'm so tired of Wolverine. Lets focus on other characters.

We def. need a X4. Out of all the superhero movies there are, the x-men films are one of my favorites, and the reason is obvious...its a superhero-team movie. I love superhero team movies because there aren't many of them, nothing against solo hero movies, but i enjoy team movies because they seem more entertaining,(not including the ff series, they were ok,but not great). More marvel team movies!

This interview is from 2006, but he's right in that they should take their time with X-Men 4, if it ever gets made, although it seems Fox has made its decision for the time being.

I view it all as them doing as he said and they said they'ds make up to us as they will with spider man as I said when I started posting here. and befor when I was working at Mutatis Mutandis as reporter/ mod among other things. and alot of people saw they had plans for a 4th but had other project's in the works spin off wise. after I reported those two. But all those guys are holding them to it. so as they said they'll make it up to us through their spin off's and sequels, and I guess some prequels now.


so they just better make it up to us. way too many people are holding them too it now, I just brought this up as a reminder. As one of the reminders for them to keep their word. and take as much time as passable just as long as they do it right.

Even though Wolverine is wrapped and will be released next year, this is a way of seeing what fans actually want to see next.

It's a multiple choice poll. I encourage everyone to click and vote and the results will be compiled into an article. I'm curious to see how the results will pan out.

X-4 then total reboot? If they make X-4 it will be with the intentions of making 5-6 in the future. Not sure what point Magneto and Young X-Men will serve but I can see why Fox might go there. Magneto is the second biggest character in their series. And the young X-Men is a good idea since fans were disappointed with the over exposure of Wolverine and under exposure of the rest of the team. I understand why Fox would go there because those films are the best immediate solution. I don't ever expect a full blown reboot for quite some time. A couple decades or so at the earliest.

id rather they plan to release X4 and Young X-Men in the same year. since Wolverine is coming out next spring/summer they should plan a 2010 release for X-Men 4, letting everyone know that the story is continuing with the next generation of X-Men. and then that same year have Young X-Men in the winter to continue this "Origin" line they're apparently pushing forward with their original members (most likely recast).

No, not X4 then reboot. That list was options, not a sequence. The idea is to see which of those options people want most.

X4, after Wolverine and Magneto, I don't really think I can think of any real good mainstream spinoffs that would interest me. I guess there might be a prequel though.

If they continue with spin-offs they should make sequel spin-offs not just all prequel...they should do like X-Men Origins: X-Factor (with only Beast and Multiple Man returning from the main saga) or something set after X-Men The Last Stand...Spin-off other X-Teams not just solo films

The thing is, can you imagine Fox making The Dark Knight. No. They'd edit it down to 90minutes, micromanage Nolan into the ground and limit the budget ridiculously.

Superhero blockbusters like TDK prove that a good running time can still result in a success for this genre of movie.

i can only see apocalypse working in a multie film story...a volume 1, volume 2 thing...maybe not the age of apocalypse...something similar to x-men legends II could work though...that was somewhat inspired by the age of apocalypse

the phoenix story should have been more than 1 film...
