The Director's Cut & DVD Campaign (Video & Images)
Its no surprise that that is Amazon.com's Best DVD of the year so far. And its a Fox release too so they're capable of doing something like this. For a flick that disappointed at the box office as well.ntcrawler said:^^^ Retroman, that is beautiful. And If Cameron was directing X3. you can be sure that the Director's cut would be like 8 hours.![]()

lordofthenerds said:A lot. How about:
-Xavier's monologue
-Bobby freezing Phat
-Rogue not taking the cure
-Storm tital wave
-Beast informing Trask about Magneto's attack
-Beast breaks a neck scene
-Pyro informs Magneto about the cure (no beard)
-Extended fight scene at Jean's house
-The original Wolverine talk before boarding the x-jet
-The original Phoenix threat at the forest with the cup
-Magneto asks Jean to help in the final battle
-Jean senses a scared girl
-More of Psylocke and show her psychic blades
-More of Angel and Colossus
-Juggernaut vs Colossus in final battle
How do Bobby freezing Phat and the original Phoenix threat affect the PG-13 rating? They weren't inappropriate at all, or at least not as inappropriate as Wolverine slicing people up in the final battle.AznBABYBANDIT said:Pinks are not filmed... therefore rehiring cast to film thoose would cost alot. They won't do it. +, it aint Wolverine or Storm...
If the greens were included, it won't b PG-13, but much higher
Yeah, and didn't a couple people say that they saw a Colossus vs Juggernaut scene?retroman said:^^The Psylocke scenes were filmed, the actress who played her confirmed it on more than one occasion. And who knows what extra material there may be of Angel and Colossus? Theres no proof that it doesn't exist.

wobbly said:There is probably a fair amount of stuff that was filmed that is either sitting on a shelf somewhere or hit the cutting room floor, never got up again and is gone for good. As an example of Fox doing this in the past we know for a fact there were a few scenes that were definitely filmed for the Fantastic Four that never made the film or the DVD, not even as deleted scenes (we saw on-set photos taken of an art gallery, complete with different sculptures of the Thing in the window, film of which has never seen the light of day). There was also alternate effects used in different scenes too, which seems to depend upon what region you were in as to what ones you saw in the theatres (afaik these alternate effects scenes aint been included on any DVD either).
So if any of this rumored footage for X3 does still exist somewhere it would be nice if somewhere down the line we did get to see it. If it's in a directors cut (possible considering how much film was available to be put back into Daredevil by it's director), that'd be fine by me.
Anyways, if there is to be a directors cut I'd love for them to revise the effects on Phoenix and give us the goddam firebird effect and put back in the following deleted scenes we do know exist: Extended fight at Jeans house, Iceman freezing Phat, more phoenix destruction, original boarding plane scene, jean sensing the scared girl, Storms Wave, Magneto asking for Jeans help in the final battle and Rogue not taking the cure.
Warhammer said:I hated the idea of Wolverine going back to Canada.
What the hell is he gonna do up there?
I am glad he stayed in the X-Mansion in the theatrical.
Btw, a director's cut would be gyping everyone, because the (21) deleted scenes didn't need to be out of the movie anyway.
wobbly said:In the novelisation it ended with him resuming his 'career' as a cage-fighter after that bar scene...basically taking him back to where he started in X1.
Agreed, and with the right software you could edit your own version anyways (if you really wanted to).
