What do you want Tarantino's next two films to be?

You're not considered a Western director unless you've done three of them, I think he's said in the past.

I don't want to tell someone as talented as Tarantino what to do because he clearly knows better than me.

I would like to see him move away from the western genre for just a little bit. It's starting to be a bit of a trend with him

A 60's Spy movie

A private detective movie

1930's Gangster movie

I'd definitely love to see him do a spy movie. He'd do something truly remarkable with, especially if set somewhere between the the 1940s and 60s.

a 70s or 80s period piece would be awesome to see. hard to believe Tarantino still hasn't done a film taking place during that era considering his love of films & music from that time

Two westerns in a row isn't really a trend.

Kill bill was a bit of a spaghetti western. Then there was Django and this

Kill Bill is by far, much more an homage in specificity to the Kung Fu/Revenge film than to Leone styled Westerns, though it's undoubtedly true Leone is one of Q's influences. Still, it's not taking place during the frontier times, there are no cowboys... Need I type more? Spaghetti Western influences are all over Tarantino films but that does not in any way make those films Spaghetti Westerns. He's literally made two Westerns. That's far from some trend or an indication that he's going to make any more.

I'd like to see him dip back into the crime drama genre one more time.

I want him to return to crime. I'd like to see another crime drama in the veign of his earlier films (Jackie Brown's my fav of his)

I've seen an interview with QT recently where he said: "When Jackie Brown is your favorite movie of mine, a point can be made that you don't like my movies" ;)

I'd love him to do a straight up horror film. Just imagine it. His films are packed with tension already.

Kill Bill Vol. 2 is a Spaghetti Western. Cowboys and frontiers are mere window dressing.

Quentin Tarantino Considered Directing A Sgt. Rock Movie

Jamie Lovett- 01/22/2016

Quentin Tarantino is a filmmaker auteur known for directing his own scripts, but that doesn't mean he hasn't at least considered taking on someone else's screenplay, and even a licensed property or two.

At one point, Tarantino even considered handling an adaptation of DC Comics War hero Sgt. Rock.

"Probably my favorite writer right now is Aaron Sorkin but it don’t think I’d be the person to direct one of his works," Tarantino told Indiewire. "However, there is a script – I’m not going to do it – that I always really liked a lot by David Webb Peoples, who wrote the 'Unforgiven' and Blade Runner. He wrote a movie version of Sgt. Rock that I always thought was really terrific. I don’t think I’m ever going to end up doing it but I really did like that script and it’s one of the few times I’ve considered doing another script."

Sgt. Rock is the leader of Easy Company during World War II in the DC Universe. He was created Robert Kanigher and Joe Kubert in 1959, and is one of the enduring icons of the era of war comics.

Peoples' script dates back to 1987, and originally had Arnold Schwarzenegger attached to star. While that certainly would have made for an interesting film, it's probably safe to assume that all parties involved have moved on.

Another Western, he is getting better at it. I wouldn't mind a more meditative and elegiac Western in the vein of Unforgiven or Monte Walsh (1970.)

Sexploitation
Noir (spy or P.I.)
Hammer Horror (Though that feels like something he'd tag team with Rodriguez, like Grindhouse.)

Kill Bill sequel
YES!

Kill the Bride would be interesting. Nikki killing her way to her.

Mafia like video game mafia pc
