I like OUATIH a lot but I also thought that there was a lot of buildup for a climax that went by way too fast, like being on a really tall roller coaster that takes a long time to get to the top, only to stop short right after the peak when the drop has just started. It ended at its highest point, almost kind of abruptly where it felt a bit jarring. At least to me. But I don't fault the movie for that as much as I do myself for having an insane amount of hype around it considering we were finally getting a Tarantino movie about '60s Hollywood. While I do love the performances from Leo and Brad as well as the Bruce Lee scene, the stuff at Spahn Ranch and the finale, I guess I was just expecting a more eventful movie than what it was. I still think it's more of an enjoyable watch than some of his other films like Hateful Eight, Death Proof and yes, even Reservoir Dogs.
