ENTERTAINMENT WEEKLY: You haven't enjoyed any comics adaptations? Even the indie films?
ALAN MOORE: There are none that leap to mind. I hear that the American Splendor film was pretty good. I didn't go and see the film; I waited until Harvey [Pekar] and [his wife] Joyce came over to our house so I got the live talk. We got to show them all around town that was, for me, better than the film./QUOTE]
I'm sure it was, but most of us do not get the oppertunity to invite Harvey and Joyce to our house.![]()
I actually think he explained himself pretty well here.
Going off his opinions on 300, and his views on previous adaptations, its clear to see why he isn't exactly thrilled.

I'll tell you what he likes--> Sitting in his house, cursing the Hollywood studios and the average movie goer. Also occasionally donning a fedora and Rorschach mask and muttering about the good old days like the sour bastard he is?
That said, I love his work. But every interview I read makes me want to find him and punch him repeatedly for being such a jerk.
He's clearly a raging, stubborn bastard... that said, I do love his work! I just don't understand his attitude. Pessimism never helped anyone.
I think he kind of has a crappy attitude. Complaining repeatedly and being immature doesn't help his cause.
