"What Goes Up..." (Hawkman)

Hawkman didnt lift a building,it was already floating,he just pulled it into the water and it wasnt without strain

I know, I just felt it was one of those eye-rolling, "Oh, come ON!" kind of moments. To each their own.

I still think Black Mask's plan was overkill. His gang probably could have robbed that joint without RIPPING THE WHOLE BUILDING INTO THE AIR, but whatever. This season's down a bit from the 4th, so I will take what I can get I guess. At least it wasn't Penguin stealing Hal Jordon's friggin' Boxing Glove attack.

I thought it was funny that they showed Batgirl at the end of the episode.

I think it's kind of funny how the Commish's daughter is always hanging out with a billionaire playboy and his youthful ward and old Gordon doesn't bat an eye. (Get it? "Bat" an eye?)

Batgirl: Helloooo? I'm in college now!

Batman: So...you're legal?

Batgirl: Uh, yeah.

Batman:...Nice:)

Aside from the story itself, if there is something I really liked on the batman, it's the batmobile animations. In this episode particularly, because we see it a lot. I love it. The way it moves, the way it stops, etc ... With htis batmobile in particular, I think, the animation is very very cool. I have the feeling that the car exist by itself.

Generally the batmobile and his baterang have been well established as sleek vehicles and weapons that he desperately relies on.

Did anyone see the preview for the season finale. they're treating it like a movie (in the trailer at least). It's cool because they show all the JL heroes.

Yeah, it really caught my eye after last ep. 'Lost Heroes', I believe it's entitled. Looked damn good.

It airs March 8th after the Spetacular Spider-Man premiere.

I was going to actually say the same thing. The only absurd display of strength was hawkman lifting the batmobile with two people in it.

The building was floating, and not moving with a lot of momentum. he simply steered it, and strained himself quite a bit.

as for the train, he was pushing down on a something that was floating, also without a great deal of momentum. he is supposed to have enhanced strength, and if he can lift the batmobile, then barely counteracting like 3mph of velocity shouldn't be unthinkable.

this episode was okay, i think it could of been better, but overall enjoyable.
