What is DC Entertainment doing? What is their plan?

Any ideas on the Superhero film that WB puts out in 2014. I truly think they'll try again that year.

Patience is a virtue folks, simply slapping down dates with no script or production team is not going to do anybody any favours.

Well we have been waiting for a Wonder Woman movie for a long time. I think its time DC to do something about it.

I think either Flash or Green Arrow will be the next we see. After them, then maybe Wonder Woman

They should do Flash or Wonder Woman

Marvel is sooooo ahead of them

They should do something ASAP!

If WB would get off their asses and give Wonder Woman the BIG SCREEN treatment she deserves, they'd move up several brownie points ahead of Marvel for being the first ones to make a superHEROINE movie.

Catwoman and Elektra.

DC doesn't have any plan, they just want to show how miserable people with plans (Marvel) are.
Then Green Lantern g 0oes and GOES!
They're not controling their characters in movies as much as Marvel Studios is, that's why when a director with a vision comes the movie is great, but when the minds behind the movie have no idea of what they're doing they suck (Green Lantern)

Green Lantern is getting the animated TV series on CN so there is that at least.

As for DCE, I wonder what the deal is and how they will continue on.

Hey Lord, where is your avatar gif from or what was it made from using Kermit and Bale?

I remembered that after I posted, the editing thingy wouldn't load so I just moved on. But indeed.

I'm sure cherokeesam probably meant the first good superheroine movie. Haven't seen one of those yet(Supergirl has some nice moments but I still would never call it a good movie).

I can't describe it any better that you. I will only write everything down again if I even try.
Using the word "god" is right for DC heroes. It's more or less what they are. Even non-powered guys like Batman and Green Arrow still stand out. They are above normal humans in fighting skills, and their use of gadgets is unique.
To make a move adaption really work, you need to find a guy like Peter Jackson. His love for LOTR and the way he pushed his own vision through, THAT'S how to do it.
Sorry, but I have to quote myself here. Can Refn possibly be that "Peter Jackson guy" who will just do Wonder Woman justice?

I would hope so, since superhero films are the only films that they make.

And this is why Marvel invested so much into their superhero movies, because it is their bread-and-butter. For WB, aside from Batman they don't really care that much. GL was an aberration because WB is trying to create another franchise after Potter, and MOS probably won't have been in the production fast track if not for the lawsuit to get the Superman rights back to the creators' estates.

really wish dc would reboot the entire movie universe with the man of steel, being followed by the batman & right after that the justice league. i think it could be pulled off if you give us the concept that people with superpowers have always been around but they never opted to be superheroes because its not their first instinct(i mean if you had powers would you be around fighting crime or you would you be using them for your own advantedge), until they see supes & batman doing it they get inspired

err.I don't think that would work for everyones.kinda screws up characters cores.the idea is to make other charcters stand on their own.not further give the notion that their not even relevant without supes, and bats

well... their actual plan is to do a jla movie without supes & bats, & i dont really think that would be the kind of movie were expecting(remember they already made a jla movie without the big 3) that wouldnt be in marvels face and would probably be a flop.marvel gave us the avengers with a very good lineup & if dc gives us jla with the main ones they would be steppin it up(of course the movie still needs to be good to really beat marvel).the characters doesnt need to translate from comic to movie exactly the same(which one has done that? batman certainly not)the movies are a different kind of beast. i think it would be more believable that bruce is crazy enough to become batman, clark very boyscout to be supes & everyone else(ww, flash, mm, aquaman)are busy enough with their (different type of)lives that being superheroe is not in their mind till they find that they need to step up for the good of earth which is their very own

They should also avoid any mention of "Marvel/Disney" in further movies. GL had at least 3 mentions of it in the film.

Maybe they want to keep trying to hit that nail to see if is a hit or miss when it comes to the DC Characters. Batman gets always the better treatment no matter what, with Superman in second every other character will get the attention they deserve....eventually.

In GL there were easter eggs in regards of marvel/disney. It's kinda of a scare tactics letting them know that they're not going to back down, but it didn't work. Whoever was thinking of doing that it relunctatly failed. There was also a mention of Superman's line.

Okay here we go:

When Hal tries to work the ring with the battery he says "To Infinity and Beyond." Buzz Lightyear which belongs to Pixar's Disney.

He also says "Up, up and away." Superman.

During Hal's training in OA he creates swords that resemble the ones from "Pirates of the Caribeann." He also makes a shield that looks just like the one from Captain America and he also throws it; again marvel and disney.

I really don't know why they went that way, then again, it is right there in film.
