If the Rock is Black Adam then I think Owain Yeoman from The Mentalist, Extant and Generation Kill would make a good Shazam.

Yeoman would have to hit the gym to bulk up a bit but that is standard almost every actor who plays a Superhero these days.

Yeoman is one of my initial pics for Shazam. I dunno now though. Hasn't he out grown the role yet? Not that big an issue but I haven't seen him around for some time now.

He would look the part with some bulk and all but I don't like him as an actor. He's decent but he doesn't seem as right as Dwanye. I mean Shazam is suppose to look intimaditating but is this kid on the inside. Some people have that natural aura or smile that let's their inner child shines through. Which Dwanye has in spades over most people I've heard mentioned for the role. Chris Evans would of made a fine Shazam cause he has exactly that kind of thing about him.

The Rock needs to be Shazam so that he can appear in multiple movies and be a Justice Leaguer.

Plus as Shazam, DC would beat Marvel to the punch when it comes to a superhero movie led by a person of color, especially if this comes out in 2016.

I honestly want everyone to have their chance to shine, & I'm sure Momoa & Affleck will do just fine.

And technically speaking Marvel already beat DC to the punch...there were 3 movies. Granted, they weren't produced by Marvel Studios like the MCU films but that's just semantics. As a black man myself, I don't care who introduces more ethnic characters first, I'm just happy they'll be doing so & primarily I just want the movies to be good.

Steel beat Blade to the punch actually. As ****** as that movie is, it still beat Blade to the punch.

I'm sure Warner Bros wants The Rock as Shazam so that he can be in the Justice League. That'd be too awesome if they got The Rock/Shazam in a Justice League movie.
