Jack the Giant Slayer was pretty good on paper. the production is good too. but the film just didnt gel in some parts, usually thats a director/ editing issue.

It's probably because the rights to a Shazam movie are probably still with New Line...much in the same what that while Star Wars is going to be a Disney movie it still has Lucasfilm on it.

"Jack The Giant Slayer" was not really a bad movie, I found it better than Disney's "Oz The Great and Powerful", which was released same year.

Hm. I am torn. I think he will be a great BA, but i was really hoping that he would be the Big Red Cheese. I love that character, and my guess is, that BA will get top billing, and the hero will be incidental, not only to the Shazam film, but future any films as well. At least if the Rock had been Captain Marvel ...errm..i mean Shazam, at least the hero would have been the focus.
