Rock looks more white to me than he looks like a black man,
This the Rock has been portrayed as white in almost every movie. Hollywood thinks he's white enough to play a white guy. If no one knew his parents were black no one would even know he was HALF black.
Yes. He's playing Guy Gardner.
Exactly how does he portray a white guy?
The only reference to race is playing Roadblock in G.I. Joe, who is black.
Were not actually sure if he's Shazam or Black Adam. That's probably why it's in the dc comics thread instead of the jutice league thread.
True and blacks come in varied looks and skin tones.I don't think any movie I've seen Dwayne in has portrayed him as a white man; he's always been shown as mixed, black or even hispanic, but I never seen one portray him as a white guy.

He doesn't look "white" but he's relatively racially ambiguous which has helped him I feel as an actor. That along with his massive amount of charisma has made him the 2nd highest paid actor in Hollywood.
That's why playing Hercules and probably Captain Marvel isn't being contested by anyone. Racial ambiguity does that.

I totally got a bunch of people to chant "Shazam!" at him at the panel.![]()
Wait, what?
