What's the goods on this character? Not too sure about the mythology of these Shazam characters. I suggested he be the villain in the JL movie (cause its The Rock and seems like an interesting character), but someone shot it down and said Black Adam isn't strong enough.

Black Adam also works as something of an anti-hero at times and has found himself working alongside a number of Superheroes which is relevant as David Goyer was one of the writers who moved him more towards the anti-hero side on his brief run writing JSA around the turn of the millennium.

I wouldn't be surprised to see the Rock's Black Adam possibly allying himself with the Justice League for a brief period against a larger threat.

People have been fan casting the Rock as Black Adam for years so it isn't that much of a surprise.

Black Adam is a character with a lot of depth who works as villain or an anti-hero. We could see him as a ally to superheroes as well as a villain.

My vote goes to Yeoman he can do the boyish side to Shazam. I don't think DC would be against hiring another less know actor in the lead role like they did with Cavill when they have the Rock and other possible big names in supporting roles or villain roles.
