i have a very complicated story, that i don't wanna explain...but the love is there, but the move to actually sharing this love between me and her and her and me...we just, well she's just backing off and coming back and backing off and coming back...eventually, and soon, if she's not gonna stay, i'm just gonna go. because it hurts, and it will hurt for me to move on, but its gonna be something i have to do if i ever wanna find the right love that will make me happy.

...on reflection she could have been some kind of freaky succubus with super mind controlling powers would explain a lot.

It can't be controlled completely, but you can also not let it control you. What I mean is, you can't really choose to love someone or not, but you can keep yourself from them if you want to. Love doesn't rule your life if you don't want it to.

Yeah, you can keep your body away from them...but not your heart.

I've been in love more then once, and my feelings toward my first love are gone...we are actually friends now. That doesn't mean that I was never in love with him in the first place.

Good question, I really don't know the answer to that one. My friend says that love is just addiction, that causes depression.

That's the best way to put it...love is a waste of time that has never truly existed. It's an illusion we chose to embrace or not. It may have existed in our parents or grandparents time, but now, in this time, love is dead.

We had to identify love in your own words, and the list 10 things you would want someone to do behaviorally to show you that they loved you. A lot of people didn't make it to 10 things, but there were some pretty good responses. That's something a little more tangible to think about than what is love.
