This isn't my car, but it's the best pic I could find to show you the right piece. I own a 1989 Toyoya Camry LE.

A few years ago I bumped into a truck bumper at just the right angle and bent this piece. I didn't even put my foot on the gas:cmad: I just took my foot off the brake, looked to the side for a split second, looked back and the guy had braked the moment I'd turned my head. The hood still shuts and the light didn't break (amazing), but I want to replace this piece from a pick 'n pull.

What's this called?

Good god, can you see the circle and arrow? I know what the friggin' hood is, I mentioned it in the first post. What is the piece between the grill/lights and the hood?

It's part of the front fascia dingus, but you should save your money and get that wheel well looked at, and then get a paint job... and then sell it.

Once again, the pic is not my car......

No, no, no, that part is in the chassis :whatever:

It's a moustache.

I don't know if pick 'n pull will know what I want if I ask for a "Camry Moustache". Although, it does make sense in a strange way. That'll be my default if I don't get the real name.

The falange?

I don't think my car is fascist, but I could be wrong.

Yeah, I figured as much, but someone might know what the damn thing is called. It's worth a shot.

I think there's a car club thread. Might try there.

It looks like just a bug guard or something, ild say it just a piece of the fender

Dude I'm telling you its part of the front FASCIA of the car. A fascia is either the front styled panels or the inside styled pieces around your gauges. Go to any place that sells them and ask.

Nah, it turned into a photo thread, I brought the help in here. Now don't you go taking credit for this. :cmad:

Yeah. as someone said (edit: and beat me again just now), it's part of the front fascia. Most cars' hoods extend all the way to the grille/headlights and don't have one, or at least in same way. It's not a normal part on every car, so there isn't a specific (or at least common) name.

I'd say look in a Camry parts catalog and find what it's called there.

Ok, thanks. I looked up "fascia dingus" and got nothing, and you said to get the wheel well looked when I already said it's not my car. I thought you were being a typical Hyper and trying to screw with me, especially after your first answer, "the hood..." - :whatever: :woot:. Thanks again.

It's your flux capacitor.

You better run to the gas station and get more plutonium.
