Iron Man What is your favorite scene from the movie ?

Tony Starks pwning the 5 terrorists that were holding the civilians hostage and also the Samuel L. Jackson "NICK FURRY" scene at the end of the credits.

The first appearance of the Mark II and when it lands. Iron Man looks pissed.

That scene owned every other Superhero movie ever made, period.

The sequence from when Tony is watching the news with the Mark III hand armor on...in the background you hear the reporter talking about the devestation at that village and wondering "who will help?" all while Tony looks pissed like a you know what...I especially love when he takes his rage out on the glass and finally decides to suit up.

That suiting up sequence HANDS DOWN...is the BEST Superhero suit-up in a comic book movie EVER!!! I just love the look on Tony's face when the helmet finally locks down...he MEANS BUSINESS.

Then of course...he takes care of business.

This entire sequence was my favorite of the whole movie. It just oozed "comic book" for me...

My favorite scene would have to be when he is building the first suit and how he escapes. Basically the birth of Iron Man.

Funny, that's pretty much the only scene that kinda annoyed me. Not that bad, but... breaking glass panes. Imagine if he'd gotten up all mad, and wiped out one of the cars! That would've shown his anger more.

Or was it his reflection he was shooting?

Favorite scene...action sequence: Tearing up the militants in the village! I wanted much more after that...
Favorite line: "This looks important"
There are so many scenes in this movie that you don't see in the previews and tv spots...and to me it made it a serious adrenaline rush! Because I was at the point where I thought..."they're totally showing the best moments in the trailers"...way wrong! Cutting the trailers must have been like finding a gold mine...there must have been so much to choose from...and after seeing it...its obvious there was!

Probably the opening scene of the film.

And I loved the battle at the end.

I don't normally post on the IM forum so I'll make it quick so I'm not accused of being a troll...went with a group of 20+ ppl to see it in NYC...man it was AMAZING...we ALL LOOOOOOOOVED it...I didn't know which thread to post on but I had to put it out there. Marvel/Favreau did an EXCELLENT job. They took the character seriously, it felt realistic w.o. being overly dark. The acting was great, even the comic relief from the robots was great. If this is a sign of things to come from marvel taking control of their own movie destiny then we're in for a batch of great flicks.
It was FILLED with nods to comics fans. I'm actually shocked at how good it was, no complaints.

The first time Tony suits up, and goes scary ass on the terrorists. Hands over the leader, "He's all yours."

Pepper replacing the heart thingy, lol

That extra scene was just too much for me. I had already heard about it and knew it was probably coming but actually seeing Jackson playing Fury and mentioning "the Avenger Initiative" was just the greatest comic scene I've witnessed thus far. Now we just need the Thor, Antman, and Captain America movies to come out so we can get that team up..

I wonder if there's any plan to just have Fury show up in each movie recruiting the heroes.

I'm thinking the same thing about Fury.

I swear everybody in the audience was clapping at that. Freakin' awesome.
The Nick Fury scene was awesome too, I felt bad for the poor saps leaving the theatre before that awesome scene came. But what can I say? It was a a scene for the fanboys.

Just a quick note, but did anyone else notice that Tom Morello from RATM was one of the terrorists?

I loved that scene.

"He's all yours."

Badass!

Another of my favorites is Stark putting on the Mark III for the fist time. Wow. Can't wait to see this movie again!

This guy said it for me. :oldrazz:

I just loved that suiting up scene with his theme song blaring through it. I still have that song stuck in my head. That is just a great theme. Even Spider-man's took a while for me to remember but this one is not getting out.

And I loved when he landed in the Middle East. No words. Just uppercuts a guy sky high and starts beating the **** out of everyone holding a weapon. The tank scene was even better in context. Just badass all the way through.

Yeah, I saw that in the credits but totally missed him in the movie.

I also loved at the end of the flight chase with the jets, how he flew down and saved that soldier with the malfunctioning parachute.

When IM goes back to Afgahnistan and saves the villagers, that entire scene is the best action in any comic book movie, it was just so bad ass. Tony blasting the tank was just the icing on the cake.

That whole scene made me realize how badass this movie really is. It's definately one of the best and iron man comes across perfectly.

Totally agree with you. Watching IronMan was just an unbelievably cool experience to see such awesomeness unfold before my very eyes.

That was a wonderful detail. Pepper probably didn't realize just how much she saved Tony's life by doing that too.

I also think Robert Downey Jr. and Gwyneth Paltrow had some of the best chemistry a superhero and a love interest have had.
