Iron Man What is your favorite scene from the movie ?

My fav was the village scene, pure awesomeness

1. "My turn!" I love it when he starts torching the terrorist camp.

2. The testing of his MII suit with that robot constantly extinguishing him when he's not even on fire.

3. When Rhodes notices the second suit and says "Next time baby!"

4. Iron Man taking out the terrorists holding the family hostage.

5. Tony and Rhodes drunk on the plane

6. The last fight between Iron Man and Iron Monger


I can't remember a whole lot, but I'll be viewing it a second time tomorrow.

All right some of my favorite moments...

1. Tony's interview with the reporter. Only RDJ could have convinced you she'd actually fall for his come ons like that!

2. "The man that has everything and yet has nothing."

3. Saki and Pole dancing!

4. The robot who kept trying to use the fire extinguisher on him-as a side note I love how he kept talking to those machines like they were pets. Very funny but kind of sad in a way.

5. Pepper doing the heart machine transplant.

6. When Obadiah paralyzes Tony-he was so creepy and RDJ communicated so much with his eyes there.

7. "Next time baby!" Oh yes, oh yes! What do you mean we have to wait two years?!?

Did anyone else notice that scene from the trailer wasn't in the movie.(At least from what I can remember)

The scene where he gets up from his kneeled position(like after he lands in that town) and then turns to the camera. It was a dark scene like he was inside the area where the Iron Monger suit was.

Does anyone remember if this was cut or did I just miss it?

I noticed that too. I don't remember seeing it.

I loved this movie and every scene was pretty equal to me, but one I've noticed hasn't been mentioned specifically yet. I know it seemed a little cliche, but did anyone else think it was kind of epic when he was shaping the Mark 1 mask, with the hammer?

Well not epic but iconic. That is just the quintessential image of Tony Stark. I kept thinking of the theme song from the cartoon going "I. Am. I-ron maaan."

my favorite scene is when he was suiting up in the red and gold the 1st and 2nd time and that part when he went back to where he was held captive the other time and punched the s**t out of the gunman and i also like when targeted the people that had guns and shot them from his shoulders weapony

Not really a scene but I loved the line 'stay still you little prick'

Just in the order they happened.

-The terrorist attack at the beginning.
-Just when the english speaking terrorist and his men confronted Stark and the other scientist. RDJ with almost no lines was so cool in that scene.
-Stark's press conference where he leaves the weapons market. Just how he sits there and reflects was a great moment for the character and the actor (while eating a cheeseburger).
-Iron Man kicking ass in that Afghan village and especially the auto-multi-sniping and blowing up the tank. Just seeing a superhero kickass and kill like that with no qualms was awesome.
--Any scene with both RDJ and Jeff Bridges on screen together. Such a great pairing of "mentor/student" and "villain/hero."
-Stark saying "I am Iron Man" to the press, cut ot credits.
-Nick Fury and the hint of the entire Marvel Universe being connected. Avengers. 'Nuff said.

Trying to think of my favorite scene...
Pff, too difficult, I'd say a tie between the repulsors fest at the village and the kid dropping his ice cream when seeing IM flying in the distance !

I loved that scene, where Stark is working on his guntlet and watching the news reports on what is happening in Afghanistan, you can see on his face how he now know's he should do something to stop it and does.

man i enjoyed the movie, but there's no way in heck im gonna go back 3 times at $8.50 a ticket.

I'll try to find it but I really just think it was a part of his sense of humor. He just came off so straight faced and sarcastic to me (for lack of a better term). Like "Clearly War Machine is the most anticipated character in the series. I don't know how anybody can deny that." tongue in cheek kinda deal.

Save the War Machine til part 3.
By the time Rhodey got the War armor he and Stark wern't even close anymore. Can we get some more lone IM time before all the characters come in...that's how SP3 got ruined, putting in too much befroe it's time.
