How is Bryan beating Lesnar any less believable than when Eddie beat him?

Or Triple-H, even.

Before WM last year, I had someone say to me that Triple-H vs Daniel Bryan doesn't even make sense because looking at the two, you know who would win in a real fight (implying that Triple-H would win).

My response was "Yeah, a guy in his early 30s who has trained with actual mixed martial arts fighters vs a 40-something year old bodybuilder who has probably never been in a real fight in his life. The winner is pretty obvious."

I'm gonna sound like NextNolan here but google Bryan Danielson vs. Takeshi Morishima to see Bryan realistically take down "Goliath" using strikes and submissions. Really good match.

To truly sound like him you need to say you were there. :oldrazz:

Lol...imagine if the rumble ends just like the 94 one, and Bryan and Reigns are co winners.

Nah, McMahon would have the match restarted to have Reigns throw out Bryan to piss off us IWCers.

Bryan would lose his WM main event shot because he signed the contract with the wrong color of pen.

Well I'm pulling for Ambrose personally. So either way I wouldn't have an IWC Hive Mind reaction.

Don't know if this Rumor has any weight but there's a rumor going around right now that the Rock is in Philly. I hardly think its true though but you never know

What's that story? Brisco or Patterson going to HHH when HHH didn't think Angle was credible/big enough to win the belt, and was suggested he do a shoot fight with, and HHH backed down.

I can picture it now:

The Rock shows up at the event in support of his little cousin Roman, and he and Brock exchange some choice words backstage. During the Triple Threat Match for the WWEWHC, The Rock comes out and costs Brock the title.

Brock wants revenge. But rather than go after Rock, Heyman proposes an alternate approach:

Brock goes after his Roman and costs him the Rumble match.

He does it, and BOOM! Setup for Brock vs. Reigns w/ The Rock backing him up; It leaves Roman looking uber strong after 'Mania, and serves as a passing of the family and company torch from The Rock to Roman.

DO IT VINCE!

You can't see Rock's bodyguards and bulletproof SUV in that shot! :woot:

Does anyone here like the ridiculous air of uncertainty surrounding the Rumble match as well as the 3 way Title match?

When was the last time that things felt this uncertain without the use of a million swerves?

Maybe Vince said the hell with Reigns and Bryan and is going with Rock/Brock II. This could very well be his last chance to do that match.

i don't see them going with rock/brock II for the title
just for the fact long term there is no benefits, brock loses he goes, rock wins he goes anyway with or without the belt

leaving the title essentially vacated longer ala wrestlemania XX - Summerslam 04

Feel free to give your thoughts on this match?

"Taz, is that Gabe Justice? What is he doing at the Impact Zone?"

Was there ever a reason why Justin Gabriel was never used properly?

"Properly"

He was never good enough to be anything but a midcarder.

Uh-Oh!

For those of you wrestling fans in NYC, there is a bar, McHales, in Manhattan, on 51st between 7th and 8th ave that shows the WWE PPV's. Join me and my friends tomorrow if you want to.

When I come back home in a few months I'll catch the ppv there.

I agree. Not everyone is a main event guy/World Champion.

It's kind of like how when it first came out that KENTA, Devitt, and Steen were going to NXT, and people acted like if they (along with Zayn and Neville) weren't all immediately moved up to the main roster and made World Champ, it was some crime against humanity. All those guys could potentially be champ (well, I honestly don't see them ever going with Neville, even though I wish they would), but it's not like everyone can be champion at once and immediately after joining the company.
