Yokozuna, Sheamus, The Rock, Alberto Del Rio, Rey Mysterio, British Bulldog (never a World Champ, but had a HOF-worthy career), Jeff Hardy, Eddie Guerrero, etc all fit at least one of those categories.

Agreed. I still want that title back. We've still got Kofi, Woods, Neville, Sin Cara, Kallisto, Tyson Kidd, Epico, and Primo there's enough there to make a compelling division

In the last 18 years I have only missed one Mania and one Summerslam, both by choice, I've never missed a Royal Rumble, but if I pay £20 and the show ends with Reigns winning I'll have pissed away my money as I'll be disgruntled and wont be bothering with WWE for the next few months.

yeah i noticed the jump in price. seems sky is bricking it now the network is available.

personally im amazed the uk got it in this state. i was expecting a deal with sky about no ppvs or only available through on demand

Yep, they have enough talent sitting around to do a solid cruiserweight division and it would probably be great but I don;t see Vince going for it. Triple H probably wouldn't mind bringing it back.

I only came back because of Sting signing with WWE. Im hoping to at least get a good ppv tonight and something to keep me hooked fir when Sting isn't on tv

So some interesting things heading into the Royal Rumble this year possible spoilers

As noted, The Rock is in Philadelphia and was spotted at the same hotel that the WWE crew is using while they're in town for tonight's Royal Rumble pay-per-view.

Word is that The Rock will indeed be appearing at the Royal Rumble but there's no confirmation on what he may be doing.

It was noted that Rock will not be facing Rusev at WrestleMania 31. There was some speculation that Rock could be in town to do another angle with Rusev but apparently that's not the case. WrestleMania 31 matches with John Cena and Brock Lesnar have also rumored for Rock in the past year so it will be interesting to see how he's used, if he's used at all.

Please if the Rock is going to be part of WM please do not give us Cena vs. Rock again.

There is also talk of Paul Heyman turning on Brock Lesnar tonight. Where that will lead who knows. I just don't like the idea of turning Brock into a face.

I don't think Orton will show up in the title match but in the RR match. There is times WWE forgets about feuds.

Either way, there will be "voices" in the arena tonight. I would not be at all surprised if he got an excellent reaction from the WWE crowd tonight.

Also not buying the rumors of a return of the Dudley's in the WWE anytime soon. I do think Jericho will be back soon as will RVD (I think RVD will be back tonight, not so sure about Jericho) but I have my doubts about the Dudley Boys.

Yeah I thought Sky would have some sort of lowered rate in truth in order to try and compete, instead they jacked it up.

I've been watching NXT since the event where Zayn won the title and I've watched 3 Raw's since the turn of the year I think. The results tonight will determine whether I bother with anymore of the actual WWE product this year.

I thought Sting would draw you back in temporarily, it was the news of Bryan announcing his return that got me back, but I'm not sure if I can sustain interest beyond the Rumble and amy just stick with NXT.

Speaking of NXT, I liked how Sami came out to the ring pissed off and wanting to fight Owens after the attack the week before, instead of being all jovial and "gee shucks ya got me Kevin"

That team that beat the Vaudevillian's looked like twin Val Venis's.

Itami vs Breeze was a really good main event, Breeze is in a bit of slump push-wise due to the new arrivals but he's still delivering in the ring.
